overall great laptop, one slight problem of the first one I received not working but after going into the store and talking to an employee I got a replacement that’s been working just fine.

I was really excited to get this laptop. Every single review I read had basically nothing but good things to say about it, especially the battery life which, at an (alleged) 11 hours, blew away most other gaming Laptops. Alas, from day one I've been hit with recurring issues. From USB ports not recognizing accessories and hardware (nine times out of ten I have to restart the computer with said accessory plugged in in order for the laptop to recognize that it's plugged in), to audio issues (sounds cracks and pops often, and sometimes cuts out entirely, when first purchased, the microphone didn't work at all) to the screen randomly going black until the machine is re-started, it's just one headache after another. Add to that the fact that the battery life isn't even close to 11 hours (I'll get three or four, if I'm lucky, and that's not even while playing games) and I have to wonder what machine most of those reviewers were using, because it sure isn't this one. And when contacting support, the only advice I get is to reinstall drivers or do a system restore, both of which I've already done more than once. Taken together, this machine was definitely not worth the $1500 I paid for it. Do yourself a favor and spend that money on building yourself a desktop gaming rig, you'll be much better off.

Great computer. Use it for gaming and school and never have any problems. It is a gaming laptop though so if gaming run it with charger plugged in.

This is a great gaming PC. If you are into gaming beside using the PC for regular tasks. it would be hard to find this type of performance of gaming PC for less than 2k let alone at this price point.

This thing is a beast (as far as a gaming laptop goes anyway). Helluva bang for your buck. A little on the heavy side but thems the breaks.

This laptop performs phenomenally well. Sure wish it had a camera. Its light, sturdy, and has a 1GB SSD. (not the fastest SSD, but I'll take the extra storage over performance right now.)

Best. Let me say it again, best gaming laptop ever. Great speakers, very convenient, great form factor, beautiful display, battery is weak, but few hours of gaming can juice out of it.

I bought this laptop and everything was good with it, until it randomly started freezing up. Then it had a weird period of time when the keyboard and the two USB ports on the right side stopped working. I assume I got a defective model, but I think it had cooling issues. The screen was a bit small for my taste, but otherwise, it was a great little machine until it started having issues. I have returned the laptop.

great looking computer and feeling also great. Not much of a computer guy but this has killer specs as it runs games and Google classroom pages great.

It's pretty good my guy. It's faster than my desktop computer and the screen is to die for. Great for gaming and I get 60fps+ in most and if not all games. GTA V and Halo runs smoothly for example.

Amazing laptop for the price. The size and performance work so well together. I game but also do productive work and this laptop handles them we'll. It's such a crisp 120Hz screen as well.

This was bought for my son as a super early Christmas gift as his last one broke. He absolutely loves it. He says it is great for his gaming as well as anything that he needs to do for school.

Outstanding machine. No real issues other than backlight bleed on bottom edge. Unbeatable for the price and specs. Reddit forum is a dependable resource for owners and prospective buyers.

This computer is great the price. My son loves it and is able to complete coursework/ meetings and game as well. My son said it is superb for gaming/content creation. 5/5 stars for him!

I got this laptop for video editing from the GoPro camera and drone. What a great purchase. Also use it for an embroidery application. Very pleased with the Asus laptop!

I like be everything about it. The trade off being the lack of web cam is the only downside for being on the go so much. But it is what it is I knew when my main focus was upon purchase

Better than the Razer Blade Stealth. THIS MODEL DOESNT HAVE THE aniME MATRIX display.

I must have gotten a dud. In only two months of ownership, I've had to reset this unit four times for different reasons: First incident: Overheating Second incident: Excessive screen flicker Third incident: Audio silence Fourth incident: Random BSODs When the device was working, it handled CPU-bound apps with ease. For gaming, the 2060 is clearly bottlenecking, especially in GPU-intensive titles like Flight Simulator 2020.

Pros: Fast processor Gaming capability is good Sleek design Cons: Battery life needs improvement Loud fan Gets hot quick. Overall probably one of the best laptop for 1-1.5k
