I really like this laptop. I did upgrade the 512GB SSD to a faster 2TB one, but other than that it is a stellar machine.

Great value for a laptop with such high end specs. But for some reasons the processor and GPU are performing way below average computers when I tested on user benchmarks.

WOW! Super impressed with this laptop. My Son plays various games on Steam and this thing works like a champ. Very cool aesthetically also!

so far this laptop has been pretty good setting it up is pretty straight forward. i would recommend this if your budget is around $1000

Works great and boots up fast. My only complaint would be no built in cam but not a huge deal. Otherwise it runs everything I throw at it with ease.

We got the computer for daily personal use and online gaming, and have had no problems with the laptop, Its quick to connect to your phones hotspot.

Of course time will tell, but this thing screams QUALITY!!! From the unboxing of the laptop you already get the feeling this was meticulously crafted. It's built very solid. I'm not sure if the frame or chassis is built out of metal, but it sure feels like it is. There's no plastic feel or bending or creaking. From the solid feel of opening the screen to the perfect feeling keys on the keyboad, this thing feels like it was made to last. While 14" is a little small for serious gaming on the go, this laptop certainly is more than adequate for someone looking at getting into pc gaming. You can always hook up a gaming monitor for at home gaming using the various ports available (HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 3.2, etc.), but when on the go, it will certainly handle any game you throw at it. The nVidia graphics card along with the AMD Ryzen processor are a phenomenal combination. The included Armoury Crate software lets you keep tabs on the performance of the machine as well as dial in the performance based on what type of game you are playing or what you happen to be using the laptop for. There are presets for adjusting the visual performance for racing games, RTS/RPG, games where FPS can be prioritized, as well as settings for just watching movies. It also has Aura sync and is compatible with ROG peripherals. The screen looks really good for a matte finish screen with the only downside being that it gets extremely washed out in bright sunlight, not even direct sunlight. Indoors though it's plenty bright. It also can be calibrated using a USB calibration tool if you see the need (I don't). The sound is actually really good for a laptop as well. It is Dolby Atmos compatible and, for a laptop, the effect is pretty enveloping. Dolby Atmos headphones would be better, but if you don't have any, the speakers are definitely adequate. Lastly, while some laptops are made in a way that make it impossible to upgrade the ram or change the battery, that is not the case with this machine. There will be some limitations, and I won't get into how you do it, but you can find resources online for how to add ram and even replace the battery if it goes bad.

very happy with this laptop. This model does not have he rgb's on the back of screen. Playing multiple games for this laptop si no problem.

AMD came out swinging this year with their Ryzen chips and it has yet to slow down doing any basic tasks or playing any basic games.

I bought it for video editing. There have been a few hiccups with crashing, but I'm pretty sure it was the program I was using.

happy with my purchase. The only thing I missed is the touch screen but I love the keyboard on this laptop it is so easy and convenient

Great Laptop. Fast processor with a decent graphics card. Played every game I threw at it with decent fps.

The best compact gaming professional use laptop for the price and with the AMD chip light loads like the web runs really snappy

over all its a good product cant really say much. Cant really compare it to other laptops being that this is my first laptop.

This is a little gem that just continues to outperform expectations. Overall, the G14 is an amazing computer. I really like this computer, particularly the portable size and performance. You can use a dual monitor setup when working (you need an additional USB to HDMI for second monitor output) if desired. GPU is more than sufficient for any current titles. Plus it is light enough to carrying one-handed into coffee shop, and lasts well if just reading or web browsing. So far I am very happy with it. I'll breeze over some pros. Pros: - amazing performance in a small form (powerful CPU and understandably powerful GPU for its size). You need to make sure the machine is using it’s powerful stand-alone GPU and not just the internal one. The I tried Overwatch, it could run it at Epic settings at 70 fps and a max temp of 68C. MyASUS program while not part of the computer is an easy to understand and use program that is included for managing your device with lots of options like running multiple diagnosis, driver updates, and customizing your preferred battery setting ( full charge, balanced, max lifespan) - Armory Crate. - Battery life. This laptop can easily last a full 8-10 hours on charge depending on what you are running (3-4 hrs if gaming). Personal cons: 8 GB ram is the bare minimum for laptops nowadays. Get this and then upgrade when you can afford it but If you can swing it get the 16 GB. Don’t get me wrong this machine will run anything you throw at it very well, but picture editing goes so much smoother. Fan noise. This computer is never silent even with the "Silent" profile setting in Armory Crate. The fan noise isn't disturbing or loud when doing light browsing, more like a white noise that can be covered up with music. No webcam. I knew this beforehand but didn't realize how much it would bug me. If you want powerful performance in a small package this is the perfect laptop for you.

Great laptop. Changed to 1Tb sat and added a second 1Tb data drive.
