Great laptop with tons of power

I honestly don't even use this for gaming that much. Mostly for some photo editing. Nothing too heavy. But the point is it has so much power that everything runs very smooth. Only problem I have with it is the fingerprint reader is very inconsistent. I I've only gotten it to work a couple times on the first try. Usually it takes a couple of tries.

I absolutely love this little laptop. I wasn't looking for anything large and it was reasonably affordable too. For gaming, I have only played a few and though it heats up pretty fast it maintains its graphics and with a good cooler underneath, there is no impact and is a great little gaming laptop!

This gaming laptop is truly an awesome machine! Even with the low-mid tier gpu it still handles some modern AAA games really well. Obviously with help of the mighty 4800HS, at mostly medium settings in the remake Resident Evil 2 I was hitting no lower than 60 fps. Witcher 3 also at medium preset I was able to get at average 40 to low 50 in dense areas like cities and forests. Would highly suggest getting a stick of RAM since this one's equipped with a soldered 8gb on the motherboard, hence only a single channel memory utilization and only 1 slot for user replaceable RAM; a caveat to owning the apparently small size of the laptop, a 14" with a relatively slim build. Keyboard is one the best ones ive ever tapped my fingers on. Not sure about actuation depths but key travel was deep enough to feel comfortable and feedback was spot on. Tactility of the trackpad is also very good. Man. Loved this laptop. Not sure why I returned it though. Maybe because I was too afraid to keep a $900 laptop.

I love everything about this laptop. The material it is made from, the screen is perfect, the trackpad works amazing; even the gestures. Battery life is 5 hours gaming on Fallout 76 or Diablo 3 for me. The selection of ports is fine - two usb c, two usb a, power, headphone/microphone out. I love this little guy!

Bought this strictly for gaming, and I've been pretty happy. It managed to handle Total War, StarCraft II, and Warcraft Reforged without problems. However, the computer has an overheating problem, so you'll want to invest in a laptop fan. Also, the speakers aren't very strong, so you may have to have some external speakers.

Since my computer broke a month ago, I've been using my friends ROG before I purchased this one. Great value for the price. I got it on sale so it was definitely worth it. I mainly use it for running machine learning software. However, down the line I do plan on adding more memory as it only comes with 8GB.

This laptop is absolutely amazing. The Ryder processor and Nvidia graphics card is enough for me to get through any task I throw at it. The benefit comes when the battery life literally lasts 8-10 hours when browsing the web and doing simple work. For a gaming laptop, that’s super impressive

Definitely exceeded my expectations on performance the new Ryzen 4000 series chips are very impressive. The only things that cost it one start were the last of USB A on the left-hand side, a second M.2 slot would be nice, and no thunderbolt 3, being able to run an external GPU with this would be a game-changer.

Cons: no insert, page up, page down, home, end, or applications keys. Keyboard is very slow. Sound is disappointing. Only two USB ports. No card reader. No webcam. Pros: the keys we have are nicely spaced. Function keys are well organized. Volume range is good. Lots of storage. Fast (except when typing). Adjustable fan is a nice touch and the machine does run hot. Display is clear. I recommend an external keyboard if you do much typing. Fast typing is easy with a good keyboard (Logitech). Logitech‘s WebCam works very well, also. Excellent battery life. Some nice features and some serious omissions.

      Dear Lena,

Indeed, it has nice and cool features.

We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if the laptop didn't meet your expectation.

On the contrary, lots of satisfied customers, having positive experience using the product, will agree with me that the unit is a decent laptop that is perfect for running popular computing applications and games, without compromising system stability and performance. Just ensure Windows is always updated in order to maintain optimum stability and performance and keep the keyboard responsive. Also, verify if internet service or connection is stable while accessing web applications and online games.

Beautifull laptop, llght fast. Runs cool. Driver for fingerprint recognition doesn't work. I wish I could put more than 24 GB ram in so it would all be dual channel but one of the ram modules was soldered in (why?). I'd give it 4.6 stars right now but fractional stars aren't allowed.

Bought this to replace a MacBook Pro. Better specs and way less ecpensive. It is light and portable. Handles all my multitasking and does a decent job with gaming. I wouldn't use this as a main gaming system, but for light gaming on the go, this is great. Looks awesome too!

This laptop is very good, the style is 10/10, the keyboard 9/10, the only down side is the heat management, It gets hot while playing games, might have to change some regedit registry values and power output to keep it cooled (look for help YouTube)

I needed to get one of our devops engineer a powerful computer and couldn't wait for the Lenovo X13 or T14 with AMD Ryzen. This provided 8-cores of Zen 2 power at under $1000 (on sale) -- got lucky it was on sale when we needed one. The 1650 GPU was a nice bonus.

I needed a compact lap top that could handle programs like AutoCAD and other design programs. I have always purchased HP and was skeptical about this brand. Wow, ASUS is absolutely fabulous and at a great price. Although the screen is small, the clarity is incredible.

Asus z g14 is good for video editing in Sony Vegas. It has not crashed on me and did a good not great time rendering. gaming has been good but I don't play a lot of high end games so I haven't tested in high demand games. I played lol, pes20, and a variety of fighting games.

I have zero clue whether my laptop is defective or what, but the fans on this laptop are incredibly loud. I was looking for a gaming laptop for college that was thin and light and thought this was the perfect buy. I really thought it was. Everything runs smoothly and it is a great machine but... the fans are unbelievably loud. I put it into Silent mode but the internal voltage and temp of the cpu gets too high and the fans blow too loud. Because of that I definitely wouldn’t be able to use it in class. I don’t know if it’s a defect because very few people have complained about the fans, but overall I am really disappointed as I had high hopes. Really wish I could get it fixed by geek squad but then I risk the ability of being able to return this thing.
