pros: great screen, great performance, great build, good battery life(for i9) cons: loud.

For my workload I needed a laptop that was fast, thin, light, good quality, bright screen, and had a webcam. This laptop delivered or even overdelivered on all of these qualities. Luckily I did not have any of the quality control issues that Asus is now notorious for, so really this has been a stellar device for my needs. The only real worry I have is the vent facing the bottom of the screen, but I hope and assume that the Asus engineers left that design there intentionally, so I think this laptop will last me well past a few years

Great bright screen with good speakers for a windows laptop. Very fast ssd. The screen is the what makes this laptop good for content creation.

I have had this laptop since march 2022 and it hasn’t let me down. I play everything from FPS to city builders and I can run medium to high graphics without a problem. The only thing I dislike is the amount of ports but that’s easy enough to get around, everything else is great. Lastly upgrading the ram is very easy. This was a great buy and I will probably buy the newest one out in the next year or so

This laptop is perfect for me. I want a fast computer so I added more memory and a faster SSD gen 4 M.2 Drive and a gen 3 SSD in the other M.2 slot and I now have real hot rod. The screen quality was also a very important feature to me and has an IPS screen with a large color space which meets the DCI-P3 specs.

Great computer perfect for gaming. We have had no problems out of this computer. High speeds. Great graphics.

I like the laptop. It seems to work well (2 weeks). I am not a gamer, so processing load on the laptop is not high. Two general concerns about the laptop are: *Small screen bleed at the lower screen edge *Hot air vented impinging on the computer screen. The bleed is small (not a deal breaker!), but I am little concerned if it can increase in time. Also, I am concerned if screen- hot air interaction can potentially reduce the screen life, going forward. If you are well informed about these issues and confident they are minor, then the laptop is truly a "best buy"!

WORST LAPTOP EVER DO NOT BUY IT!!!!! OVERHEATS IMMEDIATELY AND CONSTANTLY BLUE SCREENS, THIS IS MY SECOND UNIT, THE FIRST HAD A DYSFUNCTIONAL SCREEN THAT FLICKERED CONSTANTLY AND BOTH UNITS RUN EXTREMELY HOT, SO HOT YOU CANT EVEN TOUCH TO THE RIGHT OF THE ASUS ARMORY CRATE BUTTON. IM NOT ONE TO WRITE REVIEWS BUT THIS LAPTOP IS ESPECIALLY BAD, SERIOUSLY STAY AWAY. WORST $1500 (roughly) IVE EVER SPENT AND I REGRET EVERY PENNY. I seriously wish i could return it but by the time i had time to spend time with the laptop and test it out to see if it even worked, my return policy already expired. Massive shame because the computer looks great on paper, the build is actually solid, has a great RGB keyboard and the display is beautiful IF IT WORKS. AGAIN, SERIOUSLY STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPUTER AND PROBABLY ASUS AS A WHOLE. Please reply to this comment if you can if you have had similar issues or if you have any fixes for the overheating issue. AND BEST BUY IF YOURE READING THIS, I WOULD ACTUALLY GREATLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD RENEW MY RETURN POLICY ON THIS UNIT SO THAT I COULD RETURN IT AND GET MY MONEY BACK

This was a great buy on an excellent gaming laptop computer. This laptop is a real powerhouse of features and performance.

The computer was a powerhouse but was loud and ramped up often, this caused a lot of heat to be sent out the back and up towards the screen. Also, the keys in the top three rows became uncomfortably hot to the touch after gaming for a short amount of time. If noise is not a concern and you don't mind heat this is a good computer but for the price, there are better options out there. I refunded after two weeks.

Great gaming laptop, fast, light weight and looks great. The only problem is that it overheats. It doesn’t affect the performance but it gets really hot.

My only con about the laptop is the short battery life and loud fan noise. Besides that this laptop is amazing, it works great for school, work, and even gaming.

I’ve been using this for video editing. It does the job well and without lag. The only drawbacks are the fans are loud and the battery life is severely lacking.

So I bought a razer laptop here in 2021. It arrived basically dead on arrival. I thought no big deal, got a replacement. Razer sent me a second computer that had a different horrible problem. Then their customer service was a garbage fire. That’s what brought me to this. I bought this computer since my entire desktop pc build was using asus parts. Man they hit it out of the park with this laptop. If you are on the fence on what brand you should get, don’t be. Asus is the way to go. This thing plays every game I’ve thrown at it at ultra graphics with rtx on (when available) and it handles it with no problem. Things to know. The thing gets pretty loud when pushing the machine. But it stays pretty cool considering it’s this thin. There is no webcam, but it does have a finger print sensor for fast log in. Another big con here, because of the shortage of gaming hardware this seller is doing a bit of a price gouge. Msrp on this thing is supposed to be 1800ish. So I’d wait it out if you wanna buy it for the right price. But if you need something now I highly recommend.

This is a work horse and best in its class and price range for the performance. I am a sports broadcaster and multi-cam streamer for national broadcast weekly and use this as my main processing switcher laptop. Upgrade memory to 32 GB 1 Dimm with the 8 on-board for a total of 40 GM and make sure you match speed. One extra slot for another SSD. Thunder Bolt 3 is key.

Let me start of by saying that this laptop is designed excellent, everything about it I loved except one important thing. battery life. This laptop has very poor battery life and this is on basic tasks such as web browsing. Besides that, this laptop is amazing with its i9 11900H processor, RTX 3060 graphics, and 16:10 1440p screen, you get this laptop if you want power and an amazing screen for content creation, gaming, watching videos. This laptop is a powerhouse and I highly recommend if you want something that's going to get you through work.

Screaming fast laptop. Well built abs can handle anything I’ve thrown at it. Only two complaints (and they are minor) is that it gets pretty warm. I recommend a cooling pad. Also the rear air vents blow directly in the laptop screen. Not sure what that will do long term as it gets pretty warm. Otherwise awesome product at a reasonable price s.

Although I've only had this for a bit under a month, I have loved tons of things about it. First of all, the track pad is magnificent. It's smooth, accurate, and delightful to use. Pair that with the 165 Hz refresh rate screen and it's even more delightful to glide your cursor around the screen. The heat intake vent in front of the screen was the largest concern for me to purchase this laptop, as many were concerned that the vent wouls blast the lower end pixels of the screen. This is not the case, however, since it is an intake vent. I cannot see this harming the screen, even after years of use. So, in my opinion, it is nothing to worry about. The power of this computer rendered and exported a video I created in less than 2 minutes, which my gaming desktop would have taken around 10 minutes to do. I am very impressed by the computing power of this computer and if you switch it into Turbo mode, your computer will blaze through any task. The keyboard is easy to get used to, with nicely lit (1 zone) RGB backlighting that I have matching my desktop wallpaper. It looks very nice. For me, the selling point was that the ROG 16" has around 500 nits of brightness on its screen, as well as it being a QHD display. My previous college laptop was amazing, but was far too dim (at around 300 nits) for outside use. With 500 nits though, outside use is a breeze!! The overall feel of this laptop is a durable, powerhouse of a laptop. Great for any user. I would highly recommend. Plus, if you try it out and dislike it... you can return it. I'd say give it a shot. I didn't regret it when I did.
