Nice processor.

WORKHORSE, Great for photo and Video Editing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is awesome for Video Editing, I am a photographer and a Videographer. Pros: Fast, Great Screen and color reproduction. Video rendering was at least 5 times faster than Final Cut Pro on MAC Cons: Editing with an external hard drive wasn't that fun but once I transferred it to the internal memory it was a piece of cake.

Runs hot, but fast and light.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is very thin, and it's fast. I'd purchase an external cooling pad for it as it does run a bit hot. If not for the heat issues, I'd give it 4 stars.

Couldve been great but quality isnt there
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When looking for a new laptop to replace my old razer blade 14 i went looking at asus devices as ive known them to keep up well with the competition while still being able to make their devices at slightly cheaper prices. So when i saw this device vs a razer blade 15 with better specs for the same price i thought that this would be the one. Unfortunately i was wrong. When opening it out of the box this device seemed great. Ran games at good fps and the screen at 165hz looks amazing. However the more i used it the more i realized that this is not it yet. The first issue i had with it was whenever i would put the laptop into turbo mode sometimes it wouldnt work and when it would after i would change it back to performance mode or silent mode the pc would freeze then blue screen. The next problem i had was my microphone. I have had fhis microphone for a little over a year and it works perfectly fine on my razer blade. However when plugging the mic into the M16 it does not even remotely sound the same. I have tried several things to fix this and it just has not worked. The problem is not the mic as when switching back to my blade to test it it works just fine. The thing that finally pushed me over was the screen. At the bottom there is a thin black bar that is likely glued on as i have noticed after a couple months of use a portion of it has come off. I do not know what caused this however i have been very careful to not damage this device and am decently sure that this was not caysed by me. I really wnated to live this device, i really did but it just isnt worth the money with the problems i had. Hoping this is a dud and that others have not had my same issues but unfortunatley i will be soending a little extra money and will be buying from razer instead

Perefect first gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect for Creators and Gamers beginners. The screen is outstanding and is not as loud as many videos reviews says. The only con is the battery, is good but if you have an Intel Core I9 and a QHD screen then it supposed to discharge more than average laptops. But it is as fast as it supposed to be.

Great PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast, added RAM and an additional SSD HD immediately. Only things that would be an issue for someone is that facial recognition for login is not possible because the camera is not supported for the feature, and not a touch screen.

Good laptop, but has software issue with keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer itself is great. Runs any game no problem. Good specs and easy to use. Cons: after only 2 months of light use ( I work a lot and don’t have time to game much) 3 keys on the keyboard stopped working. It was not so to any external factor on my part. I think it’s a software issue. battery life is minimal while gaming. Needs to be kept plugged in. Runs pretty hot but has a good cooling system.

Asus Rog Zephyrus
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the very top of the line gaming computer but it does have its place for being a laptop. I do a lot of traveling and also a console gamer but i dont see the point of lugging my mini fridge of a console everywhere so this is perfect for me. I can run per say 7 days to die with friends at medium graphics and cs:go with ease i havent tried r6 but i will be downloading soon. Had a slight issue at the begining with the fingerprint scanner but after a couple of updates its back to normal. Nice screen size for movies on a plane and very sleek with the RGB style on the back it is perfect not to much and not to little. I purchased the black pc over the grey because most of everything i own is black so i had to get it in black which tends to get smudged by fingerprints easier than the grey but not a problem for a dab of alcohol and mirco fiber cloth. All in all nice PC for casual gaming and carrying around for business. Battery life isnt tremendous but it stays on for casual gaming for approximately 5-6 hours so if thats a concern to some who dont have access to a plug for more time than that say a really long lay over but if youre just watching movies should last all day.

Pretty design but not for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent laptop for gaming. Playing games like New World, World of Tanks, War Thunder, CoD Warzone, etc. are great- but the fan is excessively loud when playing these games. Furthermore, if the fan is in normal mode the game FPS drops disgustingly low and the temperature gets very high. For things work related, it overall is a good laptop. Battery life is compatible with anything that is not game related. I would recommend it to my friends.

Posted .Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you so much for the feedback, certainly, the fan will be loud during gaming. Most games require high GPU/CPU performance. When the fan is at low, the CPU temp will go higher and causes the FPS to drop. For the best performance, please ensure to close all background apps and keep your OS up to date. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to me at customerloyalty@asus.com and provide this link for reference. I'll do my best to provide a quick resolution to your case. Great but.. noisy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For an 11th Gen CPU and only a 3060 in it, this thing outperforms my desktop easily. The display ration 16:10 really needs to be the standard, makes the laptop seem bigger than it is. Along with that, its an awesome panel for gaming. Overall this is great, I just can't give it a 5 because it doesn't spec up to a 3080 AND the cooling is noisy despite being efficient. The temps were nice and low on relatively decent ultra settings on CP2077/control but the fans are loud and whiney. I don't mind loud but if it was lower frequency whine it'd be more tolerable.

Gamers Rejoice!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This ASUS Zephyrus ROG M16 is almost perfect - almost! ASUS has created what is just about the most perfect out-of-the-box gaming laptop on the market. They've struck a fantastic balance between price, power, and portability, with very little compromise. As you might have guessed already, I'm a fan! Let's start with the design. Aesthetically this is one of the most attractive laptop designs there is. Beginning with the unboxing - the M16 (yeah that's kind of odd to say in a tech review) is raised upwards towards you in an almost angelic fashion as you lift the the box lid. No, this has nothing to do with performance, but it's just the first sign of the attention to detail that has gone into this laptop. Immediately you are presented with a simple and uncluttered machine, with clean lines and smooth transitions all around. I really like the machined holes in the lid that have a reflective inner lining which displays various colors at different angles. Again, nothing that impacts performance, but yet another detail that sets this laptop apart. Lifting the device out of the box you'll notice there is some weight to it. It's not the heaviest, nor is it the lightest, coming in at just over 4 pounds. Understand though, this is a 16" gaming laptop, chocked full of incredible hardware, so the weight is actually quite good for its class. There are plenty of ports including ethernet, thunderbolt 4 x2, HDMI, MicroSD, USB, and headphone jack. I particularly like the layout and placement, which is yet again another sign of the thought that ASUS put into this design. While all ports are along the sides and moved forward to the front of the device, which is good in and of itself - it's the placement of the individual ports that I really like. For example, the power is the most rear of the ports which keeps it out of the way of other peripherals, while the headphone jack is the front most port. Along with the design is the material. I don't know exactly what the material is on the deck, but it is almost a rubber-like substance. While it does pick up smudges, prints, etc. it also easily wipes down. But what I appreciate the most is how comfortable it is. It's almost like having a built-in wrist rest. This, along with the non-sharp edges makes for a pretty comfortable gaming experience. Since we are talking about the deck, let's move on to the keyboard. This is an RGB keyboard which can be setup with the built-in software to display a near endless color variant experience. I would have preferred a multi-zone setup, however, this keyboard feels awesome to use. Not overly sensitive, yet also quite responsive. The trackpad is large, responsive, and works very well. The deck is lifted up from the rubberized footer on the underside. This allows for excellent heat disbursement which is drawn from under the chassi and pushed out through the top. I haven't owned this long enough to know whether that heat output will eventually effect the screen, but it is something to be mindful of. The fans do become quite loud, however they do a more than impressive job of keeping the laptop thermals under control. Now to the screen. HO-LY CRAP is this an awesome display! Yes this is a 165hz WQXGA 16" display with a 16:10 aspect - and is it ever gorgeous. But the really impressive part are the bezels - or should I say the lack thereof! These bezels are impossibly thin all the way around, and by far the thinnest I've experienced on any gaming laptop. So this is where a bit of magic comes in. Yes, this is a 16" gaming laptop, however, due to the thin bezels it fits in a 15" form factor. It really is impressive. Oh, and there is a built-in webcam. Now this is far from the best webcam on the market, but the fact that it even fits in the bezel is amazing. The webcam is also not Windows Hello compatible, however there is a fingerprint sensor which works incredibly well. The six speaker system puts out some impressive sound. I do prefer to use a headset for gaming, but for general everyday use these speakers are more than good enough. So onto the inside. This laptop is a beast, handling everything you can throw at it with ease, rivaling some desktops. The Intel i9 paired with 16GB of RAM and the NVIDIA RTX3060 makes for some of the best gaming ever experienced on a laptop. Between the ROG software and the NVIDIA software you can customize just about every aspect of the internals with multiple profiles. Gaming is just so, so good! A beautiful clean screen, crisp visuals, smooth transitions, and an immersive experience. Battery life is highly dependent upon the settings, use case, etc. Obviously running Turbo Mode with high-end intensive games you'll eat through the battery. To be fair - you really should be connected to external power when gaming so battery life during gaming isn't a fair benchmark. This ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 handled everything I threw at it with grace and ease. For everyday use this is more than you could ask for. Multiple browsers with multiple tabs, multiple programs, video playback all running simultaneously and this laptop just laughs. Gaming performance is the best I've ever experienced. No lag, no drag, excellent internals, comfortable use, plenty of ports, webcam, 16:10 ratio, beautiful screen, I mean come on - what's not to love? I highly, highly recommend the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16. By far the best gaming laptop I've ever used. With features, internals, and design that exceed its price point you can't go wrong.
