Seems pretty good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my M16 for a month or so, and so far I haven't run into any issues that could be attributed to ASUS (mostly minor Intel graphics driver troubles). It's great for the games I play, as well as my day-to-day activities. The display is pretty good for working on art as well, for anyone who might be interested in doing so. The only things I'd like to mention for now are to be careful about the screen angle, as hot air is blown directly into the screen with this vent design, and that battery life might be a little on the lower side when not in a low-performance mode.

Great laptop, but Asus QC...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this is a great laptop. I don’t run overly demanding games and the 3060 handles them like a charm. The display is gorgeous and the CPU is blazing fast. However, there are so many QC issues. I’ve had about 4 different models, and all of them had some sort of problem, ranging from minor ones like slight backlight bleed to software malfunctions out of the box and a loose trackpad. I eventually settled for one with slight backlight bleed and coil whine, but I wish it would have worked out differently. Would have been 5 stars if I didn’t have to go through this whole process.

Great system
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system is phenomenal. I have been using it for a while and though the temps can get a little weird sometimes it has never negatively impacted my gaming experience.

⚠️ Loud and random Fan noise.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent built, but bulky considering the PGU is only a 3060. Surprisingly, the i9 did not perform as well as I hoped for vs an i7. Marginally, better at best. The deal breaker was the random fan engagement. Even when nothing is running, the fan would kick in--IN FULL blast. Very loud.

My favorite gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this ASUS gaming laptop from A to Z. This laptop does everything I want it to do for me from gaming, video editing, watching high resolution contest, music, and the list goes on. You can upgrade to ram to a combined total of 40 GBs and add another 2 TB of NVME. This laptop has every input you will ever need. Make sure you place it on a laptop cooling pad and if you like add 1 to 2 side air cooler to vacuum the hot air out. This is a 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend not to upgrade to Windows 11. I would say for the first time this is the perfect laptop that I have ever purchased bet it Windows or Mac.

great hardwear, lacing ergonomics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.weird ergonomic things make me dislike it, but for the discount i got, so worth it, bout $700 of the mrsp of $1900. touch pad is too wide ad close to edge so your hand rests on it, keyboard is very squished, took me a while to get used to. screen is AMAZING, 16:9 and no glares

Perfect if you love crashes
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really really love this laptop but it's going back. Again. Here's why. I purchased the M16 with high hopes as I've been searching for a long time for a true productivity laptop that can still game at a respectable level. It also has the 16:10 aspect ratio, a bright display, and an excellent keyboard, which are all must-haves for me. In my time with this device, I can indeed confirm that it performs extremely well as a daily-driver for work and admirably well as a gaming laptop. Unfortunately, I've been plagued by repeated crashes. Like every 48hrs. And it's not just this unit as I've returned one already and it's doing it on this new machine as well. Constantly. Basically, without rhyme or reason, it simply shuts down and gives me a "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal / entryptotect.sys" BSOD. After it restarts, both the wifi and bluetooth are gone. Then begins the hassle of connecting it via ethernet so I can start running the endless and equally worthless Windows "troubleshooting" efforts, MyAsus System Diagnoses, updating drivers, etc. Nothing works. Then after restarting it a few more times, things suddenly just start working again. I have no idea why. I've done the reading and I'm aware that this may have something to with how this wifi card interacts with my router. That's even though we have 7 other devices (4 of which are computers) that have used the same router without issue for over two years. It could also supposedly be a third-party app I've installed. That's even though I have the exact same apps on this computer as every other computer I've used over the past year and not a single one of them have had issues. And lastly, yes, I'm aware that this could just be a seemingly simple Windows problem. That's even though I've been using Windows for like 20 years and never had single BSOD. Guess I'm just lucky. I'm aware that I could spend hours trying to adjust my router, emailing someone at Microsoft, going in in-person to Best Buy, or putting in a full-on repair request with Asus. I know because that's what the MyAsus website told me to do. But you know what? I just don't have the time to spend hours and hours trying to fix a brand-new $1900 computer. Time served is bad enough. I'm done. In short, great computer if it works for you.

Great laptop, bad Wi-Fi card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop meets my expectation in almost every aspect. The build quality is very good, large 16-inch display with 16:10 aspect ratio and 165Hz refresh rate, loads of connectivity, top-tier keyboard and trackpad. The big dissapointment is the Wi-Fi adapter that comes with it, as mentioned in many other reviews. The Wi-Fi card that comes with this laptop is MT7921, which has decent peak performance but really bad stability. The Wi-Fi disconnects randomly frequently. Fourtunately, the Wi-Fi card can be replaced, and you can find good Wi-Fi 6 adapters for around $20. Another minor issue is that it comes with a PCIe Gen 3 SSD, despite the laptop supports Gen 4 drives. This doesn't impact daily uses in any way, and if you ever want to add a Gen 4 drive, you can do so.

A true beast
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great gaming laptop. I have been running a lot of new games and they run great. The fans perform really well in cooling the laptop adequately and timely. ASUS have at last included a front camera in their gaming laptops and this was really necessary. However, I would like to point out a few shortcomings as well. 1. The cooler fan releases air directly on the lower edge of the screen, which can be really bad for the display itself. 2. The Armory crate interface is very complex at times and it really becomes hard to find out any functions within it.

Nice laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find the laptop very fast and it has all the bells and whistles I wanted. I wanted an windows I9 laptop with thunderbolt that wasn't to pricey. This is a very good match for me. My only grip is that it is a bit flimsy, however it treated with care it should do fine.

My hopes were completely shattered
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR: I returned one of these and exchanged it for an identical one only to have the same exact problems with the new one. I returned it again, and I've used the return money to buy an entirely different laptop. Do not purchase this, the chance of getting a malfunctioning one is far too high. I read the stellar reviews that this laptop had and purchased it after the laptop that I had originally wanted sold out. It was a little bigger than I expected, but, despite all of the flaws it had, I do have to say that the picture and color on this are amazing, and it ran the games I installed very well. While actively gaming on this laptop, there were no issues at all. It was only when I unplugged the laptop to take around the house and do other things with it that issues arose. It would frequently restart on its own despite needing no updates at the time, and I know this because I began checking for updates every single day just to make sure the issues I was having weren't because it was out of date. When it would restart on its own for no reason, it would also have a chance to reboot and refuse to recognize any networks that were around. It wouldn't just refuse to connect, it would say that there were none in general. This is impossible both because I have WiFi at my house which it had been connected to three minutes ago, and I live in the city where there are always options to connect. In addition to the restarting and connectivity issues, it would also frequently freeze, and I would have to hard restart the machine. Waiting and letting it finish its tantrum never worked; I always had to hold the power button and restart it. Sometimes, when I would do that, it would also do the internet connectivity thing, so it would require yet another restart. When trying to watch YouTube videos, the audio would skip as well as the video. It was only ever YouTube, so I thought it was a YouTube problem, but, when I checked on every other device in the house at the same time, there would be no issues. I originally thought it was my earbuds dying, so I bought new ones, but the brand new ones also had the same issue.

Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been trying out multiple different kinds of laptops, trying to find the perfect one for me and I finally found it. This laptop has the most beautiful screen I’ve ever used, an amazing typing experience, great power and speed, and they fixed a lot of the things that Asus has not been doing well. They fixed the bezels, added a WebCam, and increase the keyboard lighting so that you can actually see your keys at night. Overall a great laptop or anybody who wants a powerhouse in a small package.

Beware
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From day 1 the screen flickered. Seemed to get very hot just web browsing. Bought a cooling unit before I started gaming with it. Once that arrived I let my son play some Roblox. Half hour in to Roblox and chill the Zeph blue screens. I haven’t seen one of those in years. Reboot and the wifi is missing, no wifi card found in device manager. I go to bios to see if the wifi is unlocked. I discard and exit, laptop never boots again, repeating blue screen and repair doesn’t work. Call up asus, they say mail it to Indiana and get who knows what back in a couple weeks, at least I think thats what “Amy” from India said. Took it back to bestbuy. I have owned other ROG’s and they were great. Something seems wrong with this latest batch (read the other 1 star reviews). I might try again, if you buy asus, get the best buy warranty. Best buy gets 5 stars for their service. The zeph could be a beast, when it ran it ran awesome, the screen when not flickering is beautiful and sound is great for a laptop.
