Cannot complain. The screen is bright...like too bright but with good color correction. 3060 with a 165hz 2k screen is a huge advantage. The keyboard feels right when typing and did I mention this laptop has WEBCAM ?! Thank you, Asus include the webcam for me as a student who needs it right now during the pandemic. The material is making you feel the high quality of this laptop

For a nearly $2,000 laptop this just has way too many issues ranging from armoury crate button not working, really hot air blowing into the screen, all the way up to the space key and other keys not registering. Having owned an MSI GS65 and GS66 those laptops just feel much more premium. They keyboard, the build quality, the screens. This laptop feels cheap to be honest. You cant even individually change the keyboard RGB, you can only pick one color. Even $30 keyboards have that option. Armoury crate has option to disable the GPU when in battery power to increase battery life. However when you try using this you will just get a "GPU not detected message" whether the laptop is plugged in or not. The laptop comes with 8GB RAM soldered which basically makes any upgrades useless. It tried using a 8+16 combo with exact same specs (same 3200Mhz and CL). My fps in every game literally dropped by over 15. In Halo infinite I was getting 75 FPS and this dropped to 55 with a bunch of stutter. My GoW FPS went from 80ish down to the high 50s. If you want to use dual channel its best to use the same exact RAM size and speed/CL. No reason to add more ram if its just going to perform so bad. This is my second asus laptop. The first being their 3750H AMD variant with a 1660ti. and both have been full of issues. Their other products are good but laptops are just not their thing.

This is an excellent machine for gaming and having the QHD display makes it absolutely beautiful. I would say if you got a extra 50 bucks and don't need a webcam to go for the asus G15 given it has a better GPU for 50 bucks extra.

Great laptop. Its pretty fast. Down sides the speaker aren't very loud when the fans are on duting gameplay. Its not a real issue if you use headphones or external speakers. Another issue its windows 10 / 11 home. I9 processors should require windows 10/11 pro. On the plus side the ram and ssd are good starting points. You can alway add more later. No unnecessary software added that can slow the performance. This is my second asus laptop. The first one is still running like new after three years.

The laptop worked great but did have a couple small issues. Overall the laptop ran great and played games awesome. The RAM was a bit slow but was still a plenty capable gaming laptop. The display was/is incredible and second to none in the gaming laptop space. The issues that I had was as follows. The 3060 was a staved for power and had a little to be desired. The RAM was lackluster and could really use an upgrade. The fingerprint reader! It never once worked, after registering my finger i could not get it to ever work. I ended up returning the unit because of these issue and it really bummed me out because I wanted to like the laptop but for $1900+ I should not have to deal with these problems.

If you are looking for a laptop that provides quiet work settings, but can get amped up for gaming, this is your laptop. With the Armoury Crate app, you can set this to silent while you use this for working. When you want to game, set it to performance or turbo, and you're machine doesn't miss a beat. In the last two settings, the fans do run loud (due to it's power and sleek design, you're just going to have to understand that), but the machine doesn't run hot. Everything is vented nicely. I highly recommend this laptop.

This is an absolutely fantastic gaming laptop. Let's just get right to it. This thing has great performance. I was able to play many modern games at high settings and get really great performance out of them. Graphics are definitely above last gen systems such as Xbox One and PS4, and are maybe on par or better than Series X or PS5. And just for everyday computing, it's pretty lightning fast as well. It starts up and is ready to go in seconds. Everything loads super fast thanks to the ssd. It's only 1TB, so I kinda wish it would've been a bit larger. I'm sure after a few months of installing games, I'll really want another TB or two. The screen is beautiful, and buttery smooth at 165hz. And the bezel is paper thin. They fit a 16 inch screen in the form factor of a 14 inch computer. Absolutely ridiculous. My old 15 inch gaming computer is a good inch and a half wider than this system, and at least 2 pounds heavier. It's a bit mind boggling how much performance they were able to cram into such a small form factor. One thing that bears mentioning is that this is indeed a high performance gaming machine. And as mentioned, it is a relatively small form factor. Along with performance comes heat. When playing games on this system, do not expect quiet. The fans kick on and they can get pretty loud. There's just no getting around that. If you want high performance, you're gonna have to deal with heat. And in a laptop form factor, that's gonna be with high speed fans. That being said, it's not a big deal, and just throw on a pair of headphones and you're fine. Overall, this is just a fantastic gaming computer that can handle any current game, and at pretty high settings. And it does so in a very nice, slim form factor.

I did a lot of research prior to buying this system. Initially I was going to start with a desktop but ultimately decided on a laptop unit to serve as my CPU and connect it to a monitor. I don’t regret that decision at all. I was replacing a seven year old laptop that acted similarly . I’m finding this unit faster obviously. Initially I wanted to do an I-9 but after watching a YouTube video I think the Ryzen surpasses that performance.

Great laptop for multipurpose use. I will say that the design of the laptop is a little flawed... exhaust vents point directly to the bottom of the screen and makes it get really hot after long use. In addition, you need to adjust the thermals on the laptop because it turns into a jet engine right out of the box. However, dealing with it isn't too difficult. Specs are great and the performance that I get out of it is amazing.

Display is nice with a wide color gamut, but runs a bit too hot for my taste (also means this gets quite loud).

Loving this laptop so far. The design is great can use fir work and gaming without people looking twice. Had to tweak the fan settings but the asus profile set ups made that very easy.

Really a good Machine... I like the materials, performance, the display, and everything around this laptop.

For $1500 this is a great laptop. I got it on sale. Using it for programming and gaming. Fans are very loud but keeps it cool. Recommend having a headset while gaming. Getting an i9 for under $2000 and a dedicated graphics card is kind of rare. Was not disappointed by the screen resolution and brightness. Plan on cleaning it often because it's a fingerprint magnet. Battery lasts a decent amount of time in silent mode but plan on keeping your charger with you if it's going to be a long day.

I like the idea of it but it just doesn’t work as I expected. It has a very bright screen, great color RGB. The speaker is good. But I hope we have a 3070 version of it

Iv had many laptop and this one is hands down the best out of all the options! Easy UI and very thin with a great build quality.

Excellent computer so far. Runs pretty hot. Glad I upgraded to gaming computer. Lot of power for the money.
