Very good laptop and honestly one of my favorite I have used in a long time! The screen is beautiful, track pad and keyboard are great. Design is nice although a little thick. The intel processor is very powerful though not very energy efficient like the AMD ones. If battery life a big concern go with an AMD one. But this laptop is a great cross between a gaming laptop and a productivity laptop.

Bought to replace an older laptop that was feeling its age, and got a HUGE increase in performance. Blistering face, boots up almost instantly, and handles whatever I throw at without without a single hiccup. Fantastic laptop. HIGHLY recommend picking one up.

I wanted a strong CPU with a rather weaker GPU so that I can work but game at the same time. And this is perfect. I've never seen a company that offers full fat i9 cpu at this price range! And thankfully the 3060 equipped in M16 is as good as G15's 3070 model and yes i can run Forza Horizon 5 on locked 60fps :)

Great looking powerful device, runs a little on the hotter side. Apprehensive if the heat coming towards the bottom of the screen will cause and damage in the long run.

Nice keyboard, good screen size (thin bezel), pretty light for a gaming laptop, top specs (it’s a gaming laptop), decent battery life, could go up to 10hrs or more if just doing office stuff like word, excel, etc. about 4-5hrs when gaming, Also got a $400 discount, it was on sale.

I bought this laptop for school and some games. I’ve had two of the same laptop, both have been returned. The first I got worked great but after 10-15 days of having it, it started having wifi issues. I didn’t do anything besides play minecraft realms (no shaders or anything, mainly cause it lagged if I tried using shaders). It kept disconnecting from the internet and when I would do a test it would say the wifi was slow but my friend using the same internet wouldn’t have the same issues. Eventually the wifi stopped working all together as if wifi wasn’t a feature on the laptop. I tried everything like making sure my drivers were up to date, uninstalled, reinstalled, network reset. I ended up taking it to the geeksquad they couldn’t figure out the problem and I ended up exchanging it for the same one cause they said it could just be a defective laptop. Got the other one and the same thing happened, but this time I had only played it for like 30 minutes total and the only thing I did was download minecraft. Not sure what the problem was and I’m sad the laptop didn’t end up being good cause the specs are amazing! Also battery life was around 1-2 hrs on full charge.

To start off, my first ASUS laptop purchase was the G15. On arrival I immediately noticed some quality control issues. There was tons of creaking throughout the device even when simply grabbing onto the device. My first unit came in with a dead pixel and significant backlight bleed. I returned that product and bought myself an M16. This time the device felt really sturdy. Minimal flex and creaks; overall a good feeling device. The problem this time is the coil whine. When the laptop is on battery, you can hear a distinctive high pitch ringing. It typically came from the charging port and I found it very annoying. When charging, the coil whine gets a lot quieter but it's still there if you listen closely. If your work environment is loud then you probably won't hear a thing, but if it's quiet, you definitely will hear it. There was still backlight bleed but it wasn't too bad. Also, the spacebar didn't register my click if I were to click the bottom half. I returned the M16 and got myself another. This time the quality was really bad. As soon as I opened the box I could immediately tell that the screen was bent. Out of the box the display didn't lay down flush against the bottom side of the laptop. The creaks were awfully relevant too. Just even opening up the display you could hear the creaking. The backlight bleed was quite bad. Bad enough to where it actually blew out the colors while in real day use. Coil whine on this device was worst than the first M16. Instead of a high pitch noise, it made a static buzzing noise which was even easier to hear. I returned that product and again, got myself another M16. This time I wasn't surprised to find the same issues I had with all my ASUS products. Coil whine, backlight bleed, and creaking; although this time, this device wasn't too bad as the last. My main gripe with my 3rd M16 was quite significant. When I looked inside the heat pipes that vent out hot air, there is a black cord that stretches across the entire vent. One section of the cord actually looked like it was burned and you could see the copper. Although I don't know what the cord is for, it definitely wasn't suppose to be like that. The device would also just freeze for some reason at random. I've already gone through 3 ASUS device before this one so I knew this wasn't normal. When the device froze, everything would stop working. Even the fans turned off and the laptop would get insanely hot. I update all drivers and windows update so it wasn't a software problem. I finally returned that product yesterday. BestBuy is great and the people there understood my gripes and was able to work with me. Their return policy is really generous and I'm grateful but come on Asus. This is ridiculous. I really like the size and performance these devices give out, but I can't justify spending around 2k for faulty laptops. This can't be bad luck as I've been through 1 G15 and 3 M16s. This had to be the quality control that Asus has and it's really bad. For those who got good devices I'm happy for you but my experience has been just bad.

Works great, I just wish I would have waited for the 12900 cpu with a 3070 for this resolution. Screen colors look excellent. Sounds like a jet engine when gaming, I wish they would have made it thicker with a bigger heat sink. Mine runs mid 80’s Celsius when running a game that puts the gpu at 100%.
