Better for gamers. Tough for small hands.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this laptop for 5 days and have used it mostly for WoW and for fast typing. It's beautiful, but it needs to go back. Pros: Gorgeous keyboard backlight colors Beautiful super hi-res screen--it's breathtaking Fairly sleek build for such a performance monster Cons: -The keys are either larger than most or spaced out more than most. This is nice for large hands when gaming, but -I have short hands, even for a woman. This means that I'm constantly straining to reach many of the keys, and I make a LOT of typos. -The spacebar seems to prefer a center-tap--it doesn't register when I hit the ends. Even while typing this review, I've missed over a dozen spaces. -WoW: My HP Omen desktop with (on paper) lower specs runs WoW at 1080 and over 200 fps with nearly max graphics. This computer only runs it at 80 fps on 1080 with graphics bumped down to around 6 out of 10. And if I try to play at the laptop's higher native resolution, I can't get over 55-60 fps. Yes, that's playable, but I expected far better with these specs and for this price tag. One final con: This particular unit has been fairly glitchy, and I don't know whether it's a systemwide issue, or Windows11, or just a dud unit. I get flashes of a partial screen from something else every few minutes. It happens too quickly for me to see what it is. All in all, this might be a great laptop for a gamer who can figure out why WoW isn't performing all that well, and if they have decently long fingers/large hands.

This Laptop is a beast!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never bought an Asus brand gaming laptop before, but this thing is a beast!! I really like the keyboard and how it feels solid, and the games are no challenge to it. This does work, games, and almost a crime to use it for casual browsing the internet. I'm a fan, and Asus has another fan!

Perfect form factor with an Amazing screen
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great screen and battery life. I am able to comfortably play modern games along with light task work at blazing speeds. In eco mode you can turn off the gpu and get over 9hrs of battery life, just dim the keyboard and screen and you’ll have enough battery to perform light workloads for the day.

The Worst Laptop I've Ever Owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop was supposed to replace my MSI Stealth. It failed in almost every aspect. While it isn't a bad laptop in general, it's overhyped and it didn't help that it was my only option at the time because it had the best specs for the price. Pros: It's fast and the screen is color accurate...in the middle. The keyboard feels great. Physically, the laptop has a decidedly premium feel. Cons: Light bleed on this is SO bad in the bottom left corner that I can see a yellow tinge all the time. That would almost be forgivable, but then comes the coil whine. It's so high pitched that I actually got headaches when using the laptop for more than 20 minutes. Add to those two hardware issues their awful software that randomly overlayed itself on the screen telling me it had switched to default or silent or performance when nothing had changed (default kept popping up and turning off every few seconds for over an hour one day). This laptop is going back to Best Buy today, I'll use one of my non-gaming laptops for the moment. Thoughts: The RAM I received was 1xR16, so slower than what was benchmarked by reviewers. It's only half upgradeable because one stick is soldered. The Wi-Fi chip is VERY slow, sometimes taking five minutes before it connected to my network. I'm a Wireless Network Engineer and that's something I definitely can't have.

Nearly perfect but for battery and small things.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You will need more memory and the keyboard lighting flashes annoyingly at times. The power, charge and disk light reflect off the display and the battery is about 4 real hours of work you would buy an i9 such as this for. Otherwise, nearly perfect.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased his laptop for college in the fall and so far im liking it. Its a beast in all aspects, from gaming to coding. One concern is that the heat ventilations are pointing on the screen. Battery life is also not as much as I was hoping for, about 2 hours and 30 mins playing games on all profiles.

Great laptop!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop. Very fast. Amazing screen resolution and frame rate. Only problems i have with it are the fingerprint reader is junk. It wont recognize my finger 9 times out of 10. And 2 of the back plate screws were so tight they stripped the head out. One of those screws just so happened to be the gold down for the second ssd. Talk about getting angry..other than that this thing is awesome!! They really need to do aomething about the finger print reader though.

Best PC I've owned!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer! Only thing that might make it a little better would be more RAM. Everything is super fast, the lights on the keyboard may be dimmed, easy on/off on mouse for typing. Only thing is no digital pad on the right side for convenient number typing.

It's good.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very satisfied with this laptop. It has a lot of power so it does get hot, but the fans keep it at safe levels. But the fans can get a little loud, so keep it on a flat surface and game with headphones. No backlight bleed or anything like that for me.
