This is my fourth gaming laptop and the worse. I purchased to replace me older ASUS laptop for newer games. The only way I can play any game due to extreme heat is to put my floor fan right in front of laptop to bring the heat down. The laptops fans are running full speed and still the computer will shut down and when I check my ASUS it show the temp around 98 degrees. Tried to start a ticket with ASUS and they say that BestBuy my do the warranty repair, best buy says that I need to go through ASUS. So I bought a very expense gaming laptop that CAN'T game. Never again will I buy ASUS or from Best Buy when it comes to computers. Should've bought from Amazon.

We recommend following the steps in the FAQ linked below to troubleshoot the issue. If you are still experiencing the issue after troubleshooting then you can get the laptop serviced through ASUS since you have already tried Best Buy and was unable to get it serviced through them. You were recommended to Best Buy since they are an authorized service provider for ASUS laptops sold through them but since you were unable to get assistance from them you can get assistance directly with ASUS via an RMA. Has very nice specs and is a powerful pc. I would recommend getting headphones though because the GPU can be loud on turbo mode (as expected). All in all it’s a solid choice.

I love this laptop on paper.. the look, the specs.. its exactly what I was looking for. However I've ran into issues with every single one I've brought home. All had terrible IPS glow/backlight bleed, one had a trackpad that was sunken in and busted, one with bad color uniformity and one was idling at over 90 degress celsius with no processes running (yes on a proper surface with proper ventilation). I was so excited to own a great laptop for a fair price but now after 4 trips back and forth from best buy im forced to start searching for a completely different laptop. How can anyone from Best Buy or Asus make this situation better for me? Ive been a loyal Best Buy customer for years. Dare I even exchange for another laptop if someone can promise me it will be free of defects? Please help.

There's a possibility that there are background apps and Windows updates causing the unit to perform as it does. What we've observed with the Windows 10 operating system is that once the unit is not being used all background and installed apps including Windows updates will fire up. Best Mid tier gaming laptop

Display is one of the best in Windows laptops I came across. Heat Management is excellent. Go for it, if you are in this budget.
