Good laptop, but would not boot to windows

G15 is superior for gaming

Almost perfect except for the wi-fi adapter.

A 3070 would probably make it perfect with only one other major issue. The Wi-Fi is horrible. Every other device around me is getting speeds 10x faster than this thing and it appears this is common for the MediaTek wi-fi 6 adapter and there is no clear fix. It's bad enough I might have to return the thing.

We would recommend that you try changing the channel bandwidth of each band of 2.4 GHz to 20 MHz, and for 5GHz please select 60MHz. Test each of the channels first for improved stability. You can also do the speed test for each. Bad Laptop

We're sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience you had with this model. There's a possibility that there are background apps and Windows updates causing the unit to perform as it does. What we've observed with the Windows 10 operating system is that once the unit is not being used all background and installed apps including Windows updates will fire up. We would recommend that you check for and install updates. This will cause the unit to run a bit hotter than normal and in turn ramp up the fan speed. We would recommend that the user check for and install all updates for all installed applications. Multiple restarts are recommended to ensure all updates are installed. In regards to the back light bleeding, we would recommend that you reach out to us with images of the backlight. Issue after issue.

First i had an issue where when I alt+ tabbed it would decrease my brightness to 50%. This was incredibly annoying having to turn my brightness up every single time i tabbed out. Then it tells me the power cable isn't secured but that couldn't be further from the truth. All connections are secure it just keeps popping up every 15 minutes. Last straw was the option to use wifi vanished mid use. The computer froze, crashed, and upon restart using wifi was somehow completely removed from my computer
