Something to consider
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this laptop is not for everyone, but I think it is one of the best competitor versions of MacBook on windows. Pros: - good specs - thunderbolt - 16:10 screen - good screen color sRGB - one of the best keyboards and trackpads on the laptop (similar to MacBook) Cons: - poor air vent / thermal issue (but, it can be dealt with undervolting) - disappointing battery life (lasted me like 4 - 5 hrs)

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop still runs great. Wish the matt covering didn't start to peal at the corners but overall no issues.

Awesome computer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a good computer for my son who’s going off to college, but also have the ability to play his games. The speed and graphics are perfect! Yes the fan may be audible, but everything else is so worth it. Most important - he loves it!

Great computer, Poor cooling capability.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer works great until it gets hot, then it starts to throttle, i have to use an external cooler but it’s a small price to pay for portability. It plays games on high like a champ, specifically Forza Horizon 5 on the highest settings, and call of duty on high settings with ray tracing.

Good laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only issue is that the fans are loud. Great for making games and running maya, blender, and photoshop all at the same time. Great at running solo games, not so great with online/multiplayer games cuz of the 2.5 wifi. Great graphics though!

Love It!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my search for the right laptop, I'd considered many options. I'm a student studying GIS, so I needed something relatively powerful that wouldn't be too horrible to lug around outside. That narrowed my options down to the Dell XPS, Razer Blade, or something out of the zephyrus line. As crazy as it may seem at first, this actually presented the best value of those options, with similarly spec'd competitors being significantly more expensive. The laptop has been great thus far, easily surpassing my gaming needs (all I play are strategy titles and MMOs), and it's been a joy for daily use: you really can't beat this display.

A very well-built laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Build quality feels good - solid construction and a premium feel. The screen looks fantastic. I read a lot of online reviews complaining about the power light reflecting on the bottom of the screen, but I have not really noticed this in practice. It has never distracted me. Gets quite loud under full load but it's manageable. I'd prefer some noise with better cooling & performance to something quieter but with more heat-related throttling. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase!

Perfect for my needs at a very good price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially bought an open box excellent and I had these problems: 1. Touch pad inconsistent, jumping around and opening the applications even when I didn't click but jut hovered on it. I tweaked the sensitivity and etc but still did not work. 2. Wifi was discontinuing continuously. Then I returned it and bought brand new for $1500 (black friday deal) My new one doesn't have any problems I am really liking it. Screen is very good, and a very powerful laptop, I am not a gamer and don't game at all. I use it for engineering and photography. So far excellent at very good price. Other equally powerful laptops I checked are way expensive than this.

Great laptop, average battery time
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics on the computer are very good, and processing speed is very fast it’s a great laptop for gaming just be aware of that the battery only last about 3-4 hrs running a high power game without charge.

Excellent computer plagued by software issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop on sale so I got an excellent bargain for it. An excellent computer, with too many software issues that Asus has not fixed. I would recommend NOT to update to windows 11 as it is very unstable with a lot of the Asus software. Also, make sure to check for quality control issues on the screen. There have been many cases of horrendous backlight bleed that should not be the case for a laptop of this price and caliber. You can check this online by searching for a backlight bleeding test online. Otherwise, the screen is excellent, probably the best screen I've ever seen for the price. Extremely color accurate. I bought this on sale and that is where I can recommend it. I cannot in good faith recommend this laptop at the current MSRP of 1850. When it is 1440 or below, that is a bargain I highly recommend. Just make sure to update all the software or uninstall all the Asus software.

A beast! Love the 16:10 display!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this thing! I use it both for work and for gaming. For work, with iGPU and silent mode on, and the screen at about 60% brightness, I'm getting over 7 hours of battery. Combine that with the incredible screen, track pad and keyboard- it's wonderful for productivity. For gaming, the thing is fantastic. Regarding frame rates, it essentially keeps up with my buddy's Asus G15 with a 3070 (he does get a few more, but the difference is very small). All in all, I absolutely love it!

Fun laptop, runs extremely hot.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went through 3 HP Omen 16s, all defective, before I put out the extra money for this one. i9 processor is amazing, only issue is it gets extremely hot under load. Setting fans to max mitigates it a bit, but with some tricks you can get it into very reasonable temperatures.

Great Gaming and School Computer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this device! Not only does it perform great in modern AAA game titles but it is smooth for workflow and it has many features which are very nice such as microphone mute button, disable TouchPad button, an amazing port selection, and software that can change how much the battery fills so you can extend life of your battery. All of this and it is still compact enough to go with me to school. And the screen is amazing! Better than any laptop display I have every used. I didn't think I needed a QHD display but I am glad to have it now that I've experienced it.

Wish it was a 3070
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good laptop, CPU is more than enough and almosts makes up for the fact that the system is running on a rtx 3060, however, it is a 3060 and a 3070 would have been wayyyyy better. The display is way superior than last generations G14 (I own that too) but runs alot hotter.
