God computer and very fast for gaming. Works really well.

This is a real purchased review. First, screen is great, i did not see any light leak issue or others. Trackpad is decent, it is precise but not smooth like mac. The top of the trackpad CANNOT click!!! The bottom part of the trackpad is a little loose. BUT there is no quality issue for trackpad, just not good like mac. Keyboard is excellent, good travel. I know many people concern the venting issue. But I used it for 2 days and I am sure there is not issue for that so do not worry about heat air will blow the screen. Next issue is the top bezel of the screen is a little loose. It does not matter if you dont care and it will not affect anything. Overall, I have good experience in this laptop and I will recomment it if you dont care some minor issues. ASUS just does not have good CQ like Apple. I would still say it is a competent gaming laptop in the market

Great laptop, runs smooth and I like the rubber feeling of the chassis. It has handled everything I have thrown at it and the screen is great with a tiny bezel around it

I have to say im impressed with this laptop! It allows me to play destiny 2 with very little lag and i can even do my trading on several monitors without over heating it.

Excellent machine. Makes the g15 look old and outdated because the 16x10 screen is so much brighter and overall better. 3070 model should be far better. I would wait for that one instead of this one. 3070 will last you a lot longer

Fast- easy accessibility- fast charging - great screen

The M16 strikes a perfect balance between power & portability! It crushes my productivity tasks, photo editing, and video editing while being powerful enough to do some pretty impressive gaming, too. It was easy to add a second SSD, and later down the road I can decide if I want to sacrifice dual channel speed to upgrade the RAM. One thing that is unclear from the literature on this machine: based on my testing, the M.2 expansion slot is PCIe gen 3. I had to clone the original drive to my new gen 4 drive, then switch them to get the faster gen 4 speeds on the new drive I purchased. It should be clearer in the specs that the main M.2 slot is gen 4 and the expansion slot is gen 3. Other than that, I love it!

I use this computer for gaming it is great colors on the screen and keyboard makes it even more fun to use it was a reasonable price and it's a perfect fit.

The computer has an excellent design, but here’s the deal with the computer. It has a decent amount of storage, super light weight, but the computer over heats and die quickly at time while playing certain games.

Great graphics card that handles 3D rendering and gaming easily. Screen is really good. I had a 4K laptop that was always running out of battery. The 1440p screen on this laptop seems to be a good balance of resolution and battery consumption. My only complaint, as others have noted, it does get hot and loud when under a high load, but this is an issue with pretty much every laptop with similar specs and body.

So I bought this computer for gaming and the graphics and color are fantastic but the battery life is terrible, it lasts less than 2 hours and when you plug it in and play it gets really hot.

At first when i got this laptop it was great for school, but then as i kept using it, the battery life was horrible and would need constantly plugged in or it wouldnt last over 3 hours on low power mode, and the keyboard all of a sudden stopped worked as well

I bought this laptop to play games, obviously, and spent over $1600. Unfortunately, the laptop gave me problems since day 1. The in-game graphics are not as crisp as it claims to be. Also, the lag is horrible. The computer gets hot really quick and makes a lot of sound despite the fact that I always use a laptop cooler. Now, the laptop freezes sometimes and I have to force shutdown it to make it work. Not happy at all after spending that much money. But, I think this is what you get from a second-hand laptop.

For the price, I expected this computer to perform a lot better. The headphone jack has a very bad connection. The L key needs to be pressed very hard for it to respond, which makes typing very annoying. It overheats easily, so you need to play with the settings often to compensate for that. I work on music production with it and it is constantly crashing during projects that my older MacBook Pro could handle with worse specs including a worse processor. They touch pad is horrible compared to MacBooks. Overall, I feel ripped off with this purchase.

I’ve owned this laptop a year and it’s been wonderful, I can play pretty ‘needy’ games and write papers, and it handles it all perfectly. Only problem I have is sometimes the touch pad just does not register anything. Other than that, wonderful gaming laptop!

gaming laptops are good now??? yo. nice. its fans are pretty loud but that's ok I use headphones anyways

Fantastic laptop, only reason I'd give it 4 stars is the fan is pretty loud while gaming. Runs fast, plenty of storage, but the fan is noisy and makes a lot of background noise. If that's not an issue for you, it's a good buy.

I love ASUS computers. This one is fast. good graphics. sound is ok... not top notch, but, it is fine. I REALLY miss the numpad. The biggest issue is that there is only 1 usb port.

Awesome laptop, have had it for almost a year now, plays anything i want, maybe not at max settings but i knew that with the hardware.

Great laptop! Battery life is the only real drawback but its nothing that this laptop cant make up in performance. Highly recommend it if you can get it.
