I was contemplating getting higher end Wi-Fi 6 routers but this one does the trick. Upgraded all the cables and splitters. Wi-Fi speeds very fast now.

Bought this to increase coverage on my house to replace my 3 year old Linksys, I do have an old house with thick walls but my old router had little signal on second floor, I was expecting at least one more bar but it actually gets same to and sometimes less signal. I have it close to the window and even signal going outside is very poor when Linksys blows Asus by 3 times more signal. The only reason I gave a 3 rather than 1 star is because the software is awesome and management of bandwidth is really good, Linksys got lazy in the software department.

Not bad when it's all working, but I have had to reboot this about 4 times in the month I've had it connected.

It is an easier than normal to setup but you must know about placement.

Asus router are the best router I ever experienced. I brought this router for my new home. My old router is powering up my parents house.

Just like title says. This router will only slow down what the incoming speed that is coming into your place. Yes, I know this router can handle faster but only to what you're allowed on the network and with a device that is ax compatible but that wasn't the case, I couldn't get more 50mbps where the att wifi gateway was pushing out more than that. Had to return this even at a great price. I couldn't even future proof myself so returned it. If you're like thinking you'll get at least 1 Gbps, think again at least I'd you're on At&t Fiber.
