Not bad when it's all working, but I have had to reboot this about 4 times in the month I've had it connected.

Asus router are the best router I ever experienced. I brought this router for my new home. My old router is powering up my parents house.

This is my first Asus router and it's been far from joyful. I installed the RT-AX58u which is Best Buy's version of Asus RT-AX3000 on my Google Fiber internet. Using a wired connection my upload/download speeds are nearly identical. Using WiFi connedtion the download is horrible. I am receiving only about half the wifi download speed vs wifi upload. Opened a case with Asus and after 2 weeks of back and forth with Asus support I am told the issue with sub-standard wifi download speed is defective hardware. Asus wants me to RMA the router for repair requiring a minimum of 14 days turn around. Seriously?? New product out of the box and Asus wants to repair it, not replace it? The router is the main interface of my home's internet access. I am work from home along with my wife. Am I suppose to have no home internet access for +14 days while waiting for the repair. Completely unacceptable customer support by Asus. No consideration for the current situation (covid-work from home) many people are experiencing. My alternative is return the router to Best Buy and get a new one, or just switch back to Netgear.

Much better than the netgear alternative that I had purchased before this router. Steady connection and now issues with connection.

It had good ratings in a UK magazine for Mac users. However, the message on the first thing you see when you open the box says check a website for updated info on installation, but the website is pure advertising. The included installation instructions refer to outdated Microsoft Windows versions. Two of the four retractable antennas did not seem to open in the same direction. Maybe I just got a poorly packaged product. Best Buy refunded without any issues. So my 3 rating is 5 for Best Buy and 2 for the product.

Just like title says. This router will only slow down what the incoming speed that is coming into your place. Yes, I know this router can handle faster but only to what you're allowed on the network and with a device that is ax compatible but that wasn't the case, I couldn't get more 50mbps where the att wifi gateway was pushing out more than that. Had to return this even at a great price. I couldn't even future proof myself so returned it. If you're like thinking you'll get at least 1 Gbps, think again at least I'd you're on At&t Fiber.

Works as advertised looks cool you can point the antennas and several directions and you can set up more of these for iMesh

Had issues with it not working initially but customer service is great and they fixed it. No problem since.
