When this Router works normally, I won't have issues with the connection dropping. However the router seems to have its own quirks for dropping the connection to the Wifi once every often. But keep in mind that I so adjust the advance Wifi settings as well so I'll keep an eye on how this proceeds in this coming month to whether keep or return.

Wireless is crap

I have tried every setting under the sun including upgrading the card in this laptop to a AX. Same results on a new HP Elitebook for work- Wireless only gets me like 300megs if I'm lucky. Had to buy a switch to place next to the laptop to just keep it wired.

We are terribly sorry that the device will only give you 300Mb wireless and for the inconvenience this has caused you. This model undergoes intensive quality control testing and final inspection for both hardware and software. ASUS provides a warranty for the unit in order to fix or repair any isolated issue. This information will be passed on to our development team. We would be happy to assist you. We are recommending to complete a hard reset on the router.
1. Turn router power off.
2. Press and hold the "WPS" button and turn the router on.
3. Power light is on (keep holding the WPS button).
4. Power light starts flashing for about 5 seconds.
5. Keep holding until the power light stops flashing and the router will automatically reboot.
