Terrible with Spectrum! Low speed & dropouts

Worked ok for about a month and then Internet speed is dropping like a rock and it drops offline frequently. Spectrum Internet sent a tech and their signal and service was great. Called Asus "tech support" and they suck. Made it worse and said serve it in for a repair! It's 3 weeks old. Do yourself and your sanity a BIG favor, don't buy this trash. Really wish I didn't.

We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you started experiencing unstable wireless connection. To resolve the issue, please verify if the PC or device connecting to the router is working properly and within range and getting an excellent signal to the router and the router is within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired by a network cable. When the internet speed slows down, how many devices are accessing the internet? Usually, most ISP will throttle down speed or connection becomes unstable when more than 5 devices are accessing internet simultaneously. What is the router's LED color and the status light on the ISP's modem when internet speed slows down?

And yet the worst at 3bars signal. And one is an RP-AX56, which You would think would be the worst. By the way, it works great. So, for being a router It's not so good, spend more and get the RT-AX82U
