ASUS AX 3000 (58u) router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the router for 4 weeks now, and it’s been working perfectly. The app is relatively easy to set up, And the router interface can be accessed via my smart phone or computer, the speed increased dramatically, and the features and security are excellent. I feel like I’ve future proofed my system for, and if I ever need or want to set up a mesh environment, the ASUS will accommodate that.

Simply Tremendous
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For many years, Netgear was touted to be best so I put up with goat rope experiences with their non-functioning updates, performance issues, high price, absolutely terrible customer service. This device is faster than my previous top of the line Netgear router, is a breeze to set up, and their customer service division is wonderful to deal with.

Impressive WIFI 6 Router with great Feature Set
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed with this router so far. It is an entry-level WIFI 6 router that provides a lot of additional utilities. Speed and coverage are impressive with an average of 25 active clients. Also using the building timemachine with an external HDD which was a nice feature that I wasn't expecting. All in all, if you are looking for an affordable WIFI 6 router for good value for money, I would definitely recommend this.

Great router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a nighthawk that keep saying authentication error. After finding out netgear only gives you a 90 days warranty I figured go with a different brand. After some research I picked this one up on sale and it works great. Boosted my speed up to what I was actually paying for through my ISP. Great distance with this also. The app is easy to use and a 2 year warranty. Glad I did some research.

Decent router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this model Asus to replace the Asus I had used for the last 13 yrs. It was a decent setup and yields good coverage in a 1400 sq. ft. multi-story house. Reasonable speeds and support from Asus (firmware updates). Overall a decent router

Great Replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this router to replace my netgear nighthawk that became unstable. WiFi signal is strong, speeds are are about the same as the modem pushes out. My nighthawk use to drop about 20mbps in the speedtest. The phone app is good to manage your home network. Has plenty of settings you can configure. Like that you can set it up to reboot on its own which the nighthawk didn't have. I recommend this asus router.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently purchased a new modem to replace our ISP modem/ router combo. This router reaches further than our old router. The setup was quite easy. It has a lot of bells and whistles but I'm not real tech savvy, so I've gone mostly with the default settings.

good bandwidth and easy to set up
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.very nice router. it can reach slightly over the maximum speed (200Mbps) that I subscribe with spectrum internet service with its 5GHz band. 2.4GHz band can not reach that high. This router is rated for 2400Mbps. But my internet service can not provide a speed not even 1/10 of the router's rated speed. Its WIFI is strong enough to well cover my house of 3000 sqft. There is no need to get a WIFI extender.

Excellent Router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this router to replace my Nighthawk R8000 which is about 5 years old and was not giving me full bandwidth. The ASUS router is giving me my full bandwidth of 600Mb download. Setup was a breeze and the mobile app is great. Very pleased with the performance as I have 24 devices attached including a Honeywell thermostat, various tablets firesticks Blu-ray players etc. It handles them all with ease.

Great for internet speeds over 400Mbps
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from my solid RT-AC68U as I upgraded my internet to 600Mbps and needed something that could handle speeds over 350-400 wirelessly. This one looked as the best options and Asus has been solid for me over the years. I get consistently over 500Mbps with WiFi 6 devices. The Hughes speed I’ve seen is 560Mbps, but we know there are too many variables that affect WiFi speeds, so I’m pretty happy with it.

Definitely Recommend
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely phenomenal product. I had upgraded my router to this device and love the customizations you can do in-app, rather than having to visit the ip in a browser. Not only the features, but the wireless speeds and distance are great as well.

Great for Gigabit internet and Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The range is everything to look out for with this router. Asus software is as recognizable as it has always been so ease of use was superb. Gaming QoS and Streaming bottleneck is non existent on my end. Of course I run a gigabit plan for full home coverage of about 20 devices. For the price it is decent and worth every cent. Will be buying the ax6000 when the opportunity arises.

Great Entry level Wifi 6 Router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in need of a faster wireless router since everything recently became remote. I also wanted a router that would last or keep up with next gen WiFi, so that meant I needed WiFi 6. I pay for 150 Mbps internet, and this router gets me pretty close to that speed with an average of 130 Mbps. The router does stop working sometimes if I’m gaming or using lots of bandwidth for long duration of time. It takes about 5-10 minutes for the router to start working again even after a power cycle and reboot.

Wifi 6 Value!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this router after having some network disconnection problems with both Linksys and TP Link routers that I tried. I have since traced the disconnection issues to my ISP modem and simply having the ISP (Spectrum) send me an automated reset signal (as opposed to the tried and true power cycle) seems to have solved the issue. I'm keeping the ASUS AX3000 for 3 reasons over the other brands. The ASUS router software interface is just better and the firmware support lasts longer, the ability to create a mesh network if I so desire, and wi-fi 6 multi-device capabilities (I have a lot of IoT devices). That said I did have to do some tweaking of the network settings because some of the wifi 6 settings were not playing nice with my some of my older devices. Agile Multi-banding and Protected Management Frames were causing compatibility issues (also IGMP snooping to a lesser extent). My final point is this is a solid router and a great solution for my needs (and probably yours as well). There are more changes coming down the road in consumer wifi devices and routers but I expect to get 3-5 years or more out of this router which gives it top marks for value at this time.
