Switched ISP and needed a new router, the first set up was a bit difficult through the app, had to factory reset about 3 times before it finally saved the set up info. So far the performance is great, nothings dropped and there’s plenty of devices connected. The app can come in handy with firmware updates, and it’s interesting to see how my WiFi compares to the surrounding ones. Would recommend for gamers, streamers, or someone with plenty of devices

This is a monster of a router, even at lower internet speeds this beats out other routers. It manages multiple device's traffic SO well, and I love the way it displays in real time upload and download for each connected device. The software is fantastic, the router is mean looking without being ostentatious, and I was happy where the price landed below "gaming" routers. This was so good I bought I second one for a friend.

I purchased this router when the NetGear 1900 I had been using finally stated to reboot periodically after many years of service. Decided to try the ASUS AX3000 this time around to get the Wifi 6 support without spending big $$. I found it easier to setup and it has no trouble covering a 2100 sq ft home with lot's of Zooming going on. I can even stream from the backyard on the far side of the house. Been great so far!

I replaced a 5 year old Asus router that was rock solid. My old Asus ended up finally starting the router downward spiral of increasing reboots and connection losses. This was one of the only non-Netgear Wifi6 options available at my store (I've only had bad luck with Netgear.) I literally had the network up and running within 10 minutes. I named the network after the old one and used the same key. All my random printers and other wifi devices connected without any issue. Speed has been great so far. It's only been a day but so far things have been impressively worry free. I'll update this if it ends up turning someway.

So far no problems with this router. Setup was easy on my part, complicated only by COX cable inability to activate it on their end the first try. Otherwise, solved issues with cellphones dropping signals and constantly having to reset older Netgear modem/router. We only have a 150mPs and this modem has no problems keeping up with that spead.

This was purchased as a replacement device from an earlier Asus router that stopped working. The new router has all the updated software features and works seamlesssly after my old Asus router ports stopped working. Also, it was easy to setup & started working immediately (only had to reboot it once) and everything kicked into action! I love Asus products, & chose this product over the netgear nighthawk router, after reading all the reviews.

I’ve had the router for 4 weeks now, and it’s been working perfectly. The app is relatively easy to set up, And the router interface can be accessed via my smart phone or computer, the speed increased dramatically, and the features and security are excellent. I feel like I’ve future proofed my system for, and if I ever need or want to set up a mesh environment, the ASUS will accommodate that.

For many years, Netgear was touted to be best so I put up with goat rope experiences with their non-functioning updates, performance issues, high price, absolutely terrible customer service. This device is faster than my previous top of the line Netgear router, is a breeze to set up, and their customer service division is wonderful to deal with.

Very impressed with this router so far. It is an entry-level WIFI 6 router that provides a lot of additional utilities. Speed and coverage are impressive with an average of 25 active clients. Also using the building timemachine with an external HDD which was a nice feature that I wasn't expecting. All in all, if you are looking for an affordable WIFI 6 router for good value for money, I would definitely recommend this.

We recently purchased a new modem to replace our ISP modem/ router combo. This router reaches further than our old router. The setup was quite easy. It has a lot of bells and whistles but I'm not real tech savvy, so I've gone mostly with the default settings.

Upgraded from a nighthawk that keep saying authentication error. After finding out netgear only gives you a 90 days warranty I figured go with a different brand. After some research I picked this one up on sale and it works great. Boosted my speed up to what I was actually paying for through my ISP. Great distance with this also. The app is easy to use and a 2 year warranty. Glad I did some research.

Purchased this router to replace my netgear nighthawk that became unstable. WiFi signal is strong, speeds are are about the same as the modem pushes out. My nighthawk use to drop about 20mbps in the speedtest. The phone app is good to manage your home network. Has plenty of settings you can configure. Like that you can set it up to reboot on its own which the nighthawk didn't have. I recommend this asus router.

very nice router. it can reach slightly over the maximum speed (200Mbps) that I subscribe with spectrum internet service with its 5GHz band. 2.4GHz band can not reach that high. This router is rated for 2400Mbps. But my internet service can not provide a speed not even 1/10 of the router's rated speed. Its WIFI is strong enough to well cover my house of 3000 sqft. There is no need to get a WIFI extender.

I purchased this router to replace my Nighthawk R8000 which is about 5 years old and was not giving me full bandwidth. The ASUS router is giving me my full bandwidth of 600Mb download. Setup was a breeze and the mobile app is great. Very pleased with the performance as I have 24 devices attached including a Honeywell thermostat, various tablets firesticks Blu-ray players etc. It handles them all with ease.

I upgraded from my solid RT-AC68U as I upgraded my internet to 600Mbps and needed something that could handle speeds over 350-400 wirelessly. This one looked as the best options and Asus has been solid for me over the years. I get consistently over 500Mbps with WiFi 6 devices. The Hughes speed I’ve seen is 560Mbps, but we know there are too many variables that affect WiFi speeds, so I’m pretty happy with it.
