very good router would recommend it works as expected

So far so good. TV Streaming delays have disappeared after upgrading from AC1900 to AX3000.

Was a great router and withstood daily use for about 4 years, but now it's time to shop around once again. Not bad I guess seeing as how with advancements in technology, it's good to upgrade by this time anyways. Just a notice on what to expect from this unit.

Works great in townhomes or area of 1000 square ft. Never had any problem!

This was purchased as a hardware upgrade from my RT-N66U which is basically an older predecessor of this model. I was looking for more current wireless standards and features to assist with TV streaming. I also like the direct-connect to fiber internet which I recently upgraded. It also supports open source firmware (I'll eventually update it to "Merlin" firmware) and has USB port for a SAMBA NAS drive. MY only gripe is that that the old router had two USB ports. This has only one.

This is a great router. I have 14 devices on it and it works great!

No sense in giving it less stars bc a speed test is giving 40mbps download and 30mbps upload speed less than the Nokia beacon 6. I have Windstream fiber. They said it was plus n play. No lie. I’m more than happy with this router.

I just bought this router to replace a Netgear that failed and sent up smoke signals after two years. I had this router up and running in under 10 minutes. I have an VOIP phone which would not work properly with the previous Netgear router. Now with this ASUS router, it works fine. So far so good. The web interface is pretty nice and easy to use. I would recommend this router.

Decent router! Has good range and a nice set of features for the price point.

In general, this is a good router but I believe it's a bit lacking in signal strength. We live in a small ranch house with less than 30 feet distance from the router to our bedroom and have too many signal breaks between it and our top of the line Roku device.

Great router actually reaches through walls setup is easy and actually has a good amount of good tools for both the non techie and the advanced

My ASUS 1900 Dual Band is one of the best routers I've ever had. I left Linkys for this router in 2012/2013 and never went back. I was excited to upgrade to the newer ASUSAX3000 since my experience was so good, and my old router is acting up. But immediately I experienced connectivity issues following the install. I had to deal with an overly complex UI that could be much better for simple at home/business use. I had to reset the router so many times. One operator told me I couldn't use characters in my passwords & username and maybe that was the issue. After close to 6 hours and 3 reps and 5 resets, I was no closer to getting the 2G to work properly than when I started. My Samsung and GoSund plugs/bulbs need 2G to work. I work on my computer off of 5G. After nearly coming to tears I gave up and reinstalled my old router. Everything is back to normal. I'll try this again in a few months. It is completely frustrating to deal with tech support who cannot help solve installation issues with these products & each conversation is strained because of language differences. It's really a hit or miss with this stuff but at $179 it shouldn't be. Maybe I got a dud, who knows, but it shouldn't be that hard to connect wifi. I'm going to get a refund tomorrow and I won't be happy about it. I hate this router.

A solid wireless router.. Fairly easy to setup, and provides the maximum wireless connection speed from my cable modem and internet provider.

I have purchased this router about a month ago. It doesn't stay connected to the internet having to reset not restart every week. The only good thing is easy set-up and great range but other than this one issue I'd look for other options.

Router works great, Item was installed by Geek squad tech and I no longer have a problem with receiving emails and info.

So far so good, but only been a month. My last one was a tlink and died in a year. Will update post at a year if it makes it in the arizona summer heat

ASUS router works well in my 1300 sq ft home,I have not had any issues with wifi dropping or coverage.

Easy setup with great range. I really like the Aimesh function which allows you to link several routers together to form a mesh system

It has ethernet and no cable connectors on the back? I need wireless router that no cable connecters on the back but has ethernet on it. Any suggestion?
