I've been using this router for over a year and a half now and I love the speed and range I get with it. The Asus app also makes it easy to manage my home network through my phone even if I'm away from home.

Great product, easy to setup and manage networks. Haven't had any issues with range so far in a 910sq.ft apartment on either 5ghz or 2.4ghz.

i bought it to allow me to stream no matter where i am on my two floor home. It has range all the way to my backyard. It handles the speed very good which i pay for speed over 100. I even setup one channel for the visit that way they dont alow down my home devices.

Speeds are consistent, the router never has any downtime. It has enough settings for an advanced user, but can also be easy to set up for any user. I have tried a few other brands of routers and Asus easily has the best user interface and app.

Unlike my internet provider's router, this router delivers great range, speed, and it don't limit my mbs after a few months. It's a keeper.

I bought this product to try out Asus mesh system.Did the speed test from all corners of the home for signal strength and it did not disappoint.Would certainly recommend this product for future proofing an existing dated WiFi setup. We have 5 plus active device connections at home without disruptions till now - Happy-customer.

The router seems to work pretty well. Get a decent signal to both Wifi 6 and older devices in both our 2 story house and the detached garage 40 feet away. Fast performance on the 20 up/100 down cable internet we have.

Awesome !!. I replaced my AC Nighthawk router with this one as well as switching to Cat 6a cables and could not be happier. No signal issues or buffering what so ever. Download the app for Asus to make it even easier to setup and monitor.

does the job that it is intended to do. GUI is a little intimidating for average users but overall you can do alot with it. Range is fantastic for apartments and look forward to how well it does in my future home. I have signal in my 140o SQFT apartment, goes through multiple walls. full reception everywhere even out to the parking lot. Also I like that fact that it is not a massive router like Netgear or the new Linksys models. I've had multiple routers over the years from BBY and I can say i've never gone wrong with a Asus router. Could use more ports. ( the standard four ports on routers seems to be the only thing wrong with all routers these days). So many homes want to have CAT5/6 ran to each room, especially with smart TV's and other devices that this seems to be the only "issue" I wish was fixed for future models. More ports!!!

Great router! Easy to set up. It's handled everything I've thrown at it so far. I got this router because the firmware is available to download as open software. There's also an unofficial firmware build that adds extra features (ASUSWRT).

I needed to upgrade my AC 3100 router for gigabit ethernet speeds. This router fit the bill perfectly and now I have an AI mesh so that my AC 3100 doesn't go to waste because now I have full Wi-Fi signal strength throughout my home.

Our old router wasn’t strong enough to reach the kitchen with its single. I bought this sucker and it reaches outside! Plus Wifi 6 is a great addition to this router, I’m going to buy another one for the AIMesh.

I recently installed the AX3000 to replace a combo modem/router for my cable internet, the combo unit was under performing from a speed and coverage aspect in my home of 2,400 sq. ft. Setup was quite simple, I didn't use the app but decided to setup and configure the unit via laptop with an Ethernet able....total setup took maybe 15 minutes and everything was up and running. Did a speed test wireless and Ethernet and both reported 190 - 200 mb/s which is the fastest i've seen thus far from our local ISP, I have 200 mb/s service. Wireless coverage throughout the house is strong and the Wi-fi 6 is a nice upgrade from AC wireless. All of my existing clients connected easily to the unit. The admin interface is laid out very nicely and has some really nice features and tools available. I wish I would have bought this sooner! Very pleased with the quality and performance!

Extremely easy to install. Replaced a 10-year-old TPLink, which gave up the ghost. Sitting in the same spot, seems to experience more buffering when streaming to the television in the other room.

My wireless signal was breaking up and after checking all my components, I tried replacing my old TP-Link router with this on and all my problems disappeared. The ASUS-AX3000 is easy to set up and my wireless has never been better. I am very satisfied with the router.

1200mbs with Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop

I got this for the sole purpose of running virtual desktop with my Quest 2 VR headset. My Wifi 5 (802.11AC) modem worked pretty well, but I was getting 866mbs not the full 1200. I did not want to replace my existing router since its a mesh network and works very well. What I did: I set up this modem as you normally would, created wifi network, updated firmware etc. Then I switched it to an access point, unplugged the network cable from my pc and plugged it into the router, and then ran another cable from the router to my pc. I left the WAN port (blue one) unused. Connected the quest up to the new wifi network, and boom everything worked great and am now getting 1200mbs over Virtual Desktop. My gaming pc is still on my main network, and basically sees the new router as just a switch.
