My internet was realllly slowing down, so I decided to get a new router (and modem). I did a lot of research and went with this as it contained most of the bells and whistles I was wanting and priced more reasonably than some of the other options.

My current wireless router started being unreliable so I replaced with this one. Speeds are great for both wireless and wired. Range is very good thru out my home. Very satisfied.

Purchased this router to replace a Linksys model that had always been a little troublesome in how it didn't play well with Roku devices which were being used to access SlingTV. Experienced frequent crashes with the Linksys and no amount of software upgrades ever seemed to fix the problem. That problem was reviewed in a post specifically for that device. The Asus was a little glitchy at first, as it seemed to drop different devices for short periods of time at random. I tolerated this for several weeks, because it has good range and its parental controls are excellent. Finally, after about a month a new firmware upgrade came out, and it has worked absolutely perfectly ever since. Not one dropped device or hiccup of any kind. It is a little pricier that some other models, but you get what you pay for.

This item replaced an 8 year old Asus router that has been running 24/7 . I am a non tech person and it was very easy to set up using the Asus phone app and it has a very strong signal in my large house. I would highly recommend this router.

Range and speed are great. Able to stream three tvs with no buffering. Able to have good signal to one TV in garage attached to concrete house with steel roof. Very happy we made the move to buy this. Well worth the cost.

This router has been phenomenal. It's super responsive and full of great features. It provides a solid signal and wifi 6 has really surprised me with it's speed and bandwidth. It looks aesthetically pleasing also.

This router is awesome. Paired up with a Docsis 3.1 cable modem it just screams speed. Way faster than my old wireless AC router. Great price point and tons of features without feeling in over your head with options.

Got it as a gift and they loved it! It was a huge upgrade from their previous router so as expected it was better but the plus of having wifi 6 and the amount of range compared to it's competitors made it an easy pick.

Free From the Grasps of Netgear

No matter who tells you Netgear is better, or that they recommend a Nighthawk gaming wireless router, there are caveats! In my specific situation, I had upgraded to Cox Communications Gigablast Internet, and had to upgrade my modem, which was a given. My wireless router had started to act up, so it was time to replace. My Netgear AX4 wasn't even reaching the back bedroom of my 3 bedroom apartment, which caused us to purchase a range extender for $40, on top of the $199 retail price of the Netgear. This $160 router does everything the Netgear failed to do...and more. You can monitor your network through a mobile phone app, quickly accessing important information about your network status, you login credentials, download and upload speed, and who is using your network. This has been the best brand change so far!

This is so much better than the router supplied by spectrum. The signal is stronger and both the 2.5 and 5.0 gig networks are visible.

Great single router. Good range and speed for a single unit. You can also add another Asus router using their Mesh system. I love the web interface and the iOS app is actually pretty good surprisingly.

I bought this to replace a flakey router (another popular brand) and have been very happy with it. The signal level is plenty strong enough to reach security cameras around the house and yard, and it has been super stable (our previous router would periodically drop all connections and reboot... large, high-speed downloads would often trigger this). Setup went smoothly and it was able to configure itself for our cable modem after the usual power-cycle. The configuration screens were easy to navigate to setup the various networks providing names/passwords etc. While it has a lot of features and is very configurable, the menus and screens are well layed out and easy to navigate making the basics easy to find.

Our old router 'died' so we replaced it with the ASUS AX3000 dual-band wi-fi 6 router. Easy set up and works nicely.
