Pretty easy to setup and have had no issues since I got it a few months ago at this point. Very light so no need to worry about weight if you plan on hanging it up on a wall either

I got this router to manage port forwarding and VPN settings more efficiently over my ISP's modem. It having a much better WiFi band output vs my ISP hybrid is a nice plus too, as my smart lights all have stronger connections. Initial setup takes a while to actually start getting your outside connection, but after that I have had no issues with this router. Has a great admin panel, decent warranty, and pretty fast wifi. A good mid range model that will fit all of your needs.

Crazy improvement to internet speeds in our home with this router. Only problem we've been having is that it frequently drops connection with the chromecasts we have in our home. We think ots because they are older, but other than that thoroughly enjoying this product.

I bouth this router after doing some research and I am happy I did. My kids were always complaining about the internet cutting in and out so I had to do something. This router did exactly that! I have a 1,600sq ft home and it hits every room with no problems at all. Setting it up was a little tricky through the app but Asus customer service was more than helpful. It was kind of my fault but when you set it up do automatic ip option per Asus. All in all I am very happy with this router and it was well worth the $120 I paid for it.

    What an upgrade

We upgraded from a cut-rate mesh system from Amazon and it's been a revelation. We recently upgraded our speeds from 250 Mbps to 500 Mbps and were seeing pretty much none of the increase in actual usage. The mesh system didn't seem to be able to push the signal far enough or fast enough. This made a huge difference. Using Wifi 6 devices (a HP Spectre x360 and another laptop with an upgrade AX200 chip), speeds ranged from 300-400Mbps three rooms away. There are about as many walls in between and the distance is a good 30 feet. On Wifi 5 cellphones, like our Pixels, we saw low 300's in the same area as the above devices. An older desktop with an embedded motherboard wifi 5 chip is pushing 100 on a good day. We'll call that a victory honestly.

I needed to replace my router because I work remotely and would lose my Cisco sessions several time a day. I had been using the old router for two years and this was the only issue. Somedays it would get so bad I would bypass the router and directly connect to my cable modem. FYI: I use a LAN to connect my laptop to the router. I chose this router based on the reviews and because it has 802.11ax and MU-MIMO I still lose sessions, but it's only a couple per month as opposed to several times a day on bad days. We're not heavy WIFI users, only our phones, an iPad and a laptop No problems getting them set up or connecting to the internet. Entertainment system uses the LAN to connect to the router and no issues with streaming movies or music.

This is a great router to add to existing AI Mesh. In small homes it’s good by itself. I use it in addition as a NODE and really boosts my signal. Super easy to use and can change settings from your phone!

My last router failed. Bought this one based on performance/price balance. Easy to setup and get my network back operational - which is important because my wife and I both work from home offices. Performance has been stellar.

I have been using this router for a week now with no issues. I originally purchased the Netgear Nighthawk MK62 mesh router set, but began having issues after a few weeks of use. The satellite appeared to be causing an issue with several of my devices connecting to the internet. I only had the satellite placed 25 feet from the router though, so perhaps it was a proximity issue. I'm really not sure what the cause was, but with this Asus router able to cover my entire house with consistent speeds, it's apparent that a mesh system is not necessary. I have a 200 Mb/s cable internet connection, and I consistently achieved around 250 Mb/s throughout my house. User interface is on par with what I have seen from most routers, and size/appearance are the same.

I was a little unsure if this would offer the range of coverage needed for our home, but it has proved as good as it said it would be. Easy to set up and certainly has the strength and range to do all we ever need.

Great Router - Better Customer Service from BB

I upgraded from an old netgear wifi router to this ASUS router at the recommendation of an employee at Bestbuy. I admittedly did not know much about wifi routers but wanted to improve my device performance after switching to entirely streaming services for my family's many devices. He could have suggested any number of much more expensive wifi routers, but instead he suggested this router, which he said would suit my needs and allow for me to grow. I have not been disappointed. It has noticeably increased my wifi speeds and capabilities. The only thing better than the router was my experience with the employee who sold it to me. It had been awhile since I had been in a Bestbuy - I'll be returning in the near future.

After having major unfixable issues with a Nighthawk, it was time to pick out a new one, expect there were no Nighthawks available, so I had to look for a different brand. It’s pretty clear that Covid has kept the inventory down from normal at Best Buy, but with assistance, we found a. Reasonable match to what I had in the ASUS AX3000. In fact, it wasn’t just a match, it was nothing short of awesome in every way! The speeds on everything WiFi in my home is vastly improved. Even my large TV that runs off WiFi has a better picture. I can’t recommend this product more! I am a fan of ASUS!
