Solid router for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is awesome. Paired up with a Docsis 3.1 cable modem it just screams speed. Way faster than my old wireless AC router. Great price point and tons of features without feeling in over your head with options.

They loved it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it as a gift and they loved it! It was a huge upgrade from their previous router so as expected it was better but the plus of having wifi 6 and the amount of range compared to it's competitors made it an easy pick.

Good Product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our old router 'died' so we replaced it with the ASUS AX3000 dual-band wi-fi 6 router. Easy set up and works nicely.

Performs its job well
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this router to manage port forwarding and VPN settings more efficiently over my ISP's modem. It having a much better WiFi band output vs my ISP hybrid is a nice plus too, as my smart lights all have stronger connections. Initial setup takes a while to actually start getting your outside connection, but after that I have had no issues with this router. Has a great admin panel, decent warranty, and pretty fast wifi. A good mid range model that will fit all of your needs.

Free From the Grasps of Netgear
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No matter who tells you Netgear is better, or that they recommend a Nighthawk gaming wireless router, there are caveats! In my specific situation, I had upgraded to Cox Communications Gigablast Internet, and had to upgrade my modem, which was a given. My wireless router had started to act up, so it was time to replace. My Netgear AX4 wasn't even reaching the back bedroom of my 3 bedroom apartment, which caused us to purchase a range extender for $40, on top of the $199 retail price of the Netgear. This $160 router does everything the Netgear failed to do...and more. You can monitor your network through a mobile phone app, quickly accessing important information about your network status, you login credentials, download and upload speed, and who is using your network. This has been the best brand change so far!

Great single router
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great single router. Good range and speed for a single unit. You can also add another Asus router using their Mesh system. I love the web interface and the iOS app is actually pretty good surprisingly.

No Regrets
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bouth this router after doing some research and I am happy I did. My kids were always complaining about the internet cutting in and out so I had to do something. This router did exactly that! I have a 1,600sq ft home and it hits every room with no problems at all. Setting it up was a little tricky through the app but Asus customer service was more than helpful. It was kind of my fault but when you set it up do automatic ip option per Asus. All in all I am very happy with this router and it was well worth the $120 I paid for it.

Easy setup, stable operation
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a flakey router (another popular brand) and have been very happy with it. The signal level is plenty strong enough to reach security cameras around the house and yard, and it has been super stable (our previous router would periodically drop all connections and reboot... large, high-speed downloads would often trigger this). Setup went smoothly and it was able to configure itself for our cable modem after the usual power-cycle. The configuration screens were easy to navigate to setup the various networks providing names/passwords etc. While it has a lot of features and is very configurable, the menus and screens are well layed out and easy to navigate making the basics easy to find.

Too new for old chromecasts
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Crazy improvement to internet speeds in our home with this router. Only problem we've been having is that it frequently drops connection with the chromecasts we have in our home. We think ots because they are older, but other than that thoroughly enjoying this product.

Nice Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product. Nice range and fast speed. I was thinking that I might need the extender to cover the entire 1800sq ft home, but this alone is sufficient.

What an upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We upgraded from a cut-rate mesh system from Amazon and it's been a revelation. We recently upgraded our speeds from 250 Mbps to 500 Mbps and were seeing pretty much none of the increase in actual usage. The mesh system didn't seem to be able to push the signal far enough or fast enough. This made a huge difference. Using Wifi 6 devices (a HP Spectre x360 and another laptop with an upgrade AX200 chip), speeds ranged from 300-400Mbps three rooms away. There are about as many walls in between and the distance is a good 30 feet. On Wifi 5 cellphones, like our Pixels, we saw low 300's in the same area as the above devices. An older desktop with an embedded motherboard wifi 5 chip is pushing 100 on a good day. We'll call that a victory honestly.

Very Stable, Very Dependable.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to replace my router because I work remotely and would lose my Cisco sessions several time a day. I had been using the old router for two years and this was the only issue. Somedays it would get so bad I would bypass the router and directly connect to my cable modem. FYI: I use a LAN to connect my laptop to the router. I chose this router based on the reviews and because it has 802.11ax and MU-MIMO I still lose sessions, but it's only a couple per month as opposed to several times a day on bad days. We're not heavy WIFI users, only our phones, an iPad and a laptop No problems getting them set up or connecting to the internet. Entertainment system uses the LAN to connect to the router and no issues with streaming movies or music.

Must have
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great router to add to existing AI Mesh. In small homes it’s good by itself. I use it in addition as a NODE and really boosts my signal. Super easy to use and can change settings from your phone!
