Great value and price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After water was spilled in our fully functioning router... I was forced to find a replacement ASAP. The ASUS fit the bill in terms of specs and price. Easy to get set up and back up to speed.

Great Router - Better Customer Service from BB
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from an old netgear wifi router to this ASUS router at the recommendation of an employee at Bestbuy. I admittedly did not know much about wifi routers but wanted to improve my device performance after switching to entirely streaming services for my family's many devices. He could have suggested any number of much more expensive wifi routers, but instead he suggested this router, which he said would suit my needs and allow for me to grow. I have not been disappointed. It has noticeably increased my wifi speeds and capabilities. The only thing better than the router was my experience with the employee who sold it to me. It had been awhile since I had been in a Bestbuy - I'll be returning in the near future.

SIMPLY AMAZING!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having major unfixable issues with a Nighthawk, it was time to pick out a new one, expect there were no Nighthawks available, so I had to look for a different brand. It’s pretty clear that Covid has kept the inventory down from normal at Best Buy, but with assistance, we found a. Reasonable match to what I had in the ASUS AX3000. In fact, it wasn’t just a match, it was nothing short of awesome in every way! The speeds on everything WiFi in my home is vastly improved. Even my large TV that runs off WiFi has a better picture. I can’t recommend this product more! I am a fan of ASUS!

No Regrets
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bouth this router after doing some research and I am happy I did. My kids were always complaining about the internet cutting in and out so I had to do something. This router did exactly that! I have a 1,600sq ft home and it hits every room with no problems at all. Setting it up was a little tricky through the app but Asus customer service was more than helpful. It was kind of my fault but when you set it up do automatic ip option per Asus. All in all I am very happy with this router and it was well worth the $120 I paid for it.

Nice Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product. Nice range and fast speed. I was thinking that I might need the extender to cover the entire 1800sq ft home, but this alone is sufficient.

Great router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a Nighthawk R7000. I'm able to get my full 400mbps wirelessly on WiFi 6 with an ASUS AX3000 PCE-AX58B PCIe card. It also operates silently, unlike the R7000.

Not a great router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brought this to upgrade my netgear n600 router for better speed and buffering issues but honestly its having issues keeping connected to some devices. I also have had some issues with buffering with a few apps on my firestick. I might have to return this router due to these issues but I have had it for little over a month . My netgear had issues but all my devices were connected and never disconnected at all. Got this for Christmas and only had it connected for about two weeks now. Very frustrating . I do like all the features the app and the newest ax technology. Trying to find out if my newer desktop computers network card can be updated to ax to see if I would get better speed and connection. Anyway might need to go back to my netgear n600 router

Easy to use and setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace our 5 year old router. Setup was easy and didn’t require an app to do so. There is a lot of customization you can configure (splitting 2.4/5 WiFi). Good device for the cost.

Using in AImesh configuration; working great!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The COVID-19 SIP put enormous strain on our home WiFi, with 2 older kids Zooming school and my WFH requiring > 6 hours/day video calls. Our house isn’t huge (2300 sq ft, 2 story), and the AX3000 we purchased earlier this year couldn’t cover it all. I had previous installed a MoCa setup to ensure reliable connectivity from our home office/guest bedroom, so adding a 2nd AX3000 as an AImesh access point with a point-to-point MoCa connection was attractive. It has worked like a dream: strong connections in all rooms, no more complaining to the IT guy (me :-) ), and almost no maintenance. We had one hiccup the first month, but that appeared to be on the Xfinity side (have also purchased own cable/voice modem).

Welcome to the future
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a new laptop (legion 5). I thought that AC was still the latest WIFI, but the laptop has AX. Apparantly I've been living under a rock. During the transfer of music and pictures to new computer, I realized how out dated my 2.4ghz N is. Transferring lots of gigs of data at a rate of around 20 MB/s takes some time. I bought this WIFI 6 router, and I'm transferring files at a hair over 100MB/s. That's what I'm talking about. I turned the modem's WIFI off and unplugged the other N router being used as an access point. This new router in a central location has a better signal everywhere compared to the other two. After 1.5 days, it's chugging along nicely. If it stays working, life is good.
