Great product, great range, very easy to use app, and connectivity. Used this to replace an old nighthawk wireless router. Works way better for sure. Best Buy had a great price too!

This router delivers more than what it promised. I moved from Tp-Link Archer A7 to this and I'm sure I made the right choice. The problem comes when your device doesn't support dual-band (usually old devices) A low to medium level of technical expertise is needed if you have wifi needs for more than a bunch of new phones/laptops/TVs/Console Old devices might have compatibility issues (it can be addressed with appropriate settings, but it defeats the purpose of using this router) and your smart home IoTs might have few initial setup issues., because they usually work only on 2.4 GHz bandwidth.

Bought this about a month ago and didn’t want to review it until I had some experience with it. We absolutely LOVE it! Does everything we need it to do and more! The APP they have to set up is super user friendly! Set up is easy peasy! The extra features are great if you have kids and want to limit there speed or even kick them off lol. Definitely a great price for a great product!

Easy to setup and has been working well so far. Have two of these setup in AiMesh and the coverage is great. The management app for ASUS routers are actually easy to use and works as intended.

Powerful wireless router. Bought this to connect to our other ASUS router and create a Mesh AI network. Covers our entire house with no more dead spots. And it's WiFi 6! Well worth it.

If you want the next gen WiFi 6 and only need it for work from home and 4K streaming it works fantastic. Haven’t had to restart it yet. Super easy to set up and control through the app.

I upgraded from the ASUS RT-AC87R purchased 9-15-2014. I have Suddenlink. Recently I upgraded to the 1GB internet service for the same price I was paying for a lower speed. We are streaming more. We have multiple connected devices such as ARLO, Ring camera, Amazon Fire TV, 4 echo show devices. I have not seen any issues with any devices when connected. The only way to see anywhere close to 1GB is with a wired connection to the modem. All of these devices share data. I see 400GB when using my Note 20. I see 200GB when using my Dell PC. Overall, my old router was just as capable of these speeds. I think the response time for webpages is very fast.

We ordered this and another larger one, and this one came in first. We used it while the larger one was in transit, and it worked PERFECTLY while we worked from home. BONUS- it's absolutely adorable. Even though it's been replaced with the bigger one, we still have it because our original plan was to use it on our first floor (our computer room/server closet is on the second floor) for our living room entertainment/gaming systems, etc. Having used it already as our primary with so much success, I can't imagine it will have any trouble when we finish setting that room up. I'll update if we encounter any issues though. did i mention it's CUTE AS HECK?

I upgraded from an ISP special router after experiencing difficulties with port forwarding even with a static IP address setup. Turns out, the firmware was locked down to not even allow port forwarding defeating the purpose of even paying the $5 a month extra for my static IP. I had quite a bit of back and forth between this and a Google mesh wifi setup, but I settled on this because at the time Google didn't offer a wifi 6 enabled router. Thanks to the high channel traffic in my area the wifi 6 has allowed me to have significantly increased wifi throughput as well. All in all, a good router for the money.
