Fast router with Wifi 6 capability. Have not had any issues with range or speeds with it since owning it.

I purchased two of these routers to replace my old routers/networks with a newer, faster mesh network. It took a bit of trial and error to get everything to work and ‘play nice’ with each other - I’m glad I had some basic networking knowledge - however once set up, these things have worked flawlessly. We’re consistently getting 200+ mbps in every room (faster than I knew our ISP was providing!!) and the mesh network is seamless. We have the node router hard-wired, so there’s no need for a dedicated WiFi band to backhaul data. I’m hoping, with WiFi 6 protocols already onboard, these routers will work well for years to come!

Fast Easy Nice app. Kept my old Asus router now a sub node in the mesh which is both a wifi range extender and 6 wired ports for all my living room entertainment electronics.

Did not have to use this router. The router I Had worked on the new copier.

Works as intended and the app is very easy to use. As long as your ISP is good, you’ll be happy with this router

So far I’m very pleased with this router. Coverage in our 2500 sq ft home is excellent and there’s even decent signal in the garage. Easy to set up.

This router greatly extended my speed and range in the house. In a roughly 2000sqft ranch style home I now have full wifi bars in every room and even outside on the decks which is nice. Setup was super easy, scan a couple QR codes to download the Asus app and setup is self explanatory.

I’ve spent $400 on routers for several years with upgraded processors, wireless tech, and gaming centric features. All had some level of issues in performance or with software. This time I went with this unit and was presently surprised for the $179 price tag. It’s been stable with great wireless coverage, and my ping stays consistent with low latency and handles are large amount of devices well. Out performs the $400 routers Also love the security and parental control features

I have a modest 2500 sq.ft home with a back office I had trouble getting a strong signal and speeds in. Tried eero and the stock comcast router but neother were able to give me speeds close to my 400mbps plan speed. This ASUS product gets me 350-450 mbps, which is solid. i love the fact that you can change the direction of the external antennas. Setup is easy and the app/web interface are solid, but could be challenging for a novice. But still, that doesn't mean you'll have trouble setting it up. Buy it- i think its a good value for the price and build quality is solid.

I've only had it one day, but so far it's perfect. - Amazing speed. My old router wifi speed test was around 100 Mbps (on 5Ghz connection). This Asus hits 520 Mbps. It's that much faster. (More than 5x faster.) - The processor is very fast so the control panel is responsive and seems to reboot quickly compared to my previous router. - Good range. I run it in my basement in a two-story house (two upper levels) and the entire house gets coverage. - Nice size... not too big. Smaller than my old Netgear. - This might seem like no big deal, but you can choose your own username for the control panel, which helps security. If a hacker knows that your username is "admin" then they can brute force your password. But if they don't even know what the username is, they have a more difficult starting point. My previous router had "admin" hard coded as the user name, which I think was pretty silly. - Android app looks good and is quite intuitive. My previous router, Netgear R7000, was awful. Best Buy's extended warranty program is almost too good to be true. They exchanged that junky router, turning it into a store credit with 100% of the original purchase price given to me, so I applied it to this Asus. I would recommend this router and I would recommend the extended warranty as a favor to your future self. It is a fairly low one-time fee and it's very likely that you'll use it.

Wanted Wi-Fi 6 and at first, bought something else...which crashed at least 3 times over 2 days, so looked into the AX3000...So glad I did. Very happy with the performance and the administrative tools (web and mobile app). Liked it so much, I bought a second one for my basement office, using the AiMesh...It was a small hassle to get them to pair; but, once I did, I've been very happy with the entire system. I like the performance and bandwidth reporting, as well as the VPN options. Two of these systems seem to be covering almost 3000 sq. ft without any issues!
