The ASUS-AX3000 wireless router changed my work environment substantially. Now my signal is strong throughout the whole house. It's a game changer!!

Bought this with a Aris SB800 (?) modem to replace my Mediacom Xfinity gateway rental. A little bit of set up required, and some features had to be changed/reduced to work with the devices I had connecting to it, but all is well now that I got those things set up. I would say that's maybe the one downside to someone who has (unknowingly) a specific need for it, but without the technical know how to set it up correctly. I hear that Asus support isn't the greatest so for those people I could see them maybe having trouble. I am able to connect two Xbox Series counsels via wifi, with my PC connected via ethernet, multiple smart tvs and phones via wifi. The two Xbox's were not "getting along" which is the extra steps I had to take (turned off Smart Connect to create two separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz connections, and changed the bandwidth of those to be optimal for the layout of my house and neighboring networks). The Xbox's are now getting along, with an Open NAT on both, and receiving the expected download speed on a 5ghz connection.

Asus has come a long way in networking recently. Firmware works we and is easy to navigate. Coverage is solid and range is pretty good for price.

I replaced a single nighthawk router with this and another ASUS router used together. This router had the same range as the nighthawk but adding a second ASUS in conjunction allowed me to reach way beyond the original nighthawk range. ASUS calls an additional router a node. Adding a node to your ASUS router is super easy from the app. Way better than a mesh system or using extenders. This router just by itself would have plenty of range in the average home though.

Great WiFi range and speeds. Purchased for use in 2000 sq ft home and we have plenty of coverage throughout.

Love this thing, it has worked wonderfully for my VR set up to play it all wirelessly and is a great future buy for once I eventually move out on my own to manage my home network to perfection. That said its very easy to set up directions are very clear and can even be managed via a phone app.

I bought this router to replace an older unit made by ASUS. The older unit had a max transfer rate on the WAN port of 100mbs. My ISP upgraded my speed to 200. So I wanted to take advantage of the extra speed. This unit is capable of 1000mbs on the WAN port. I'm now getting over 200mbs. The setup screens are also very close to the old router which made setup really easy. I'm very happy with this unti!

Extremely reliable and stable. More than enough to adequately cover 2500 square feet.
