As usual Asus builds nice looking overpriced products that do work fine. My experience was that even though my Galaxy S20+ 5G showed WiFi-6 the router speeds dropped very quickly as distances and walls increased. This is somewhat expected but at around 25 feet and a wall the speeds were only around 100Mbps. BUT, the ugly Xfinity router combo unit maintained speeds up to 250Mbps. All tests ran fine so units not bad it's just another overpriced piece of junk!

Used this to replace my rented Cable router. Was easy to set up and the range is good. Thought I would have gotten a bit more range from it. No big complaints though.

Super fast, capable router, and looks like a spaceship. Never lose connection and streaming is always super fast.

Setup was straight forward. Full featured setup menus. Watched some YouTube videos for enabling additional features. Don't have a large network, but our 2 Windows 11 PCs, iPhone, Android phone and smart TVs connected easily via wireless network.

Great router!! Have over 15 devices all connected and still get great speed and great reach. Happy with this purchase

Easy setup, for the price I don't think you can best this router, speed is very consistent and fast since I have at&t fiber

I upgraded from my Frontier DSL router to this one. I get a lot better coverage and faster in my house. This router also has a lot more features than the one I had. Love that I can use my VPN on the router .I highly recommend it.

It's a good router, I use these in a mesh mode with 2 other units. One would normally be needed in my house but 5ghz get's spotty due to not having the same range as 2.4ghz. By having the other 2 units I get great signal with 5ghz in the whole house. The webGUI is very good if you know a bit about networking, and it also has a auto-setup utility that get's it going out of the box. This is the same as the RT-AX3000.

We could not be more pleased with our new ASUS Wireless AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router. Our Geek Squad representative, Chris Cotton, was the best in getting us set up and to make sure everything was working correctly! Since our HP computer tower is so old (13-14 years) we are anxious to purchase a new computer tower soon which should give us a lot more speed and dependability with our home computer. I will definitely ask for Chris again to come and install it at our house!

My old wifi wasn't broken, but it was dated and slow with it's slow rates. This was a huge upgrade from that older model. I like the fact that the software can be installed on my phone as I was dreading trying to find my old laptop and connect with an ethernet cable.

Purchased this Asus RT-AX58U AX3000 based on a recommendation from my son to replace a much older router for my medium-sized home. The reviews here and from other sources helped me decide in favor of this model. Setup and configuration was very easy and took a very small amount of time. Although I haven't tried to set up some of the more advanced features, I am sure that doing so will be easily accomplished.

ASUS is the best and tends to cost a bit more than other brands. Their machines work great for me! It was time to upgrade my old slower, less capable equipment and this router works perfectly! Installation was easy. There are videos online and easy printed directions to help with setup.
