This ASUS router has worked very well for me so far. Setup was relatively simple and the range covers my one story house.

I'm very satisfied. I replaced an N router which seemed to be having Wi-Fi issues from time to time. I am getting better signal strength and no issues of dropping as with my old router. After using for about a month now I am pleased with the software that can be used to change options though I do not know what all the options can do for me. I am making all my changes through my wired connection with my desktop but the mobile software looks pretty complete.

Needed to cover 3400 sq ft and multiple devices. More than does the job. Easy set up. Would definitely recommend.

I was having issues with my old router not reaching the back bedrooms. Distance was only about 60ft, but it had 4-5 walls to penetrate. This is the first ASUS product I’ve purchased and it worked great! Very simple installation and set-up - the included QR code led to a very helpful webpage with FAQs and contact information for ASUS Support. This greatly improved my signal strength, updated me to Wi-Fi 6, and didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.

Really great, feature rich router with great performance. I got this to replace unstable Netgear R7000 and RAX120, and have been very happy. Very nice having both OpenVPN Server (to connect to my home remotely) as well as OpenVPN Client (to connect to my workplace) on the router. Enjoying ASUS DDNS sever and mobile app. Have had two firmware upgrades since purchasing so it is nice to know that there is active development and improvements being made by the company.

Excellent AX/WiFi 6 router. I couldn't believe they were in this price range yet. So far fast and reliable.

Great. Newest tech: wifi 6, QoS, MU-MIMO, etc, full bars everywhere in the house, up to date firmware (a deal breaker for any router lacking this) and the Asus Router app is actually good ("Visit Web GUI" shortcut [tap on the 3 horizontal bars upper left] to full site, in case you forgot the address). Just make sure you have a compatible wifi 6 network card, though, else you're stuck at whatever your current wifi standard's speed maxes out at.

The device is great, but I do have a comment about the purchasing experience at the Best Buy store on Broadway and Houston St. in Manhattan (New York City). I had a technical question I wanted answered before buying, but when I asked for someone to help me with that (e.g. a Geek Squad member) I was told (after waiting quite a while) that they had all left for the day. Fair enough (it was late) but then when I went to the cashier, I spotted someone with a Geek Squad shirt still there and helping another customer. Apparently there was no communication between the 'regular' staff and the Geek Squad, which would have saved me quite a bit of time. As it turned out, the answer he eventually gave to my question was only partially correct, though it probably would not have changed my purchasing decision (I would have bought it anyway) even if he had been more accurate. Anyway, the ASUS device meets my needs, and I'm impressed with the extensive native configuration options - no need to flash different firmware (such as dd-WRT) because the ASUS software gives me access to everything I need to adjust.

Came as described, and works great with my other ASUS router. Has an excellent signal and great range.
