I am very happy that I replaced my five year old Netgear router with the ASUS AX3000. It was straightforward to set up and is working perfectly. The signal is strong enough to use devices on the deck, which is on the other side of the house.

Since upgrading to this wireless router, my speed has been very fast. The setup was very easy.

Router works great. Replaced my aging router and saw my download speeds increase dramatically. Streaming movies no longer paused to buffer, even 4K titles. Very easy to set up and get all devices connected. No longer needed range extender for downstairs man cave. Almost bought more expensive router thinking I needed the extra capacity. So glad I saved the money and got this high quality router.

Purchased this router as a way to take advantage of the increased speeds of AX technology and I’m totally impressed thus far. I can see no difference between WiFi connection speed and my Ethernet connection during online gaming. I also have the fastest internet speed available from my ISP 1G.

I recently bought this router when my NetGear R7000 started dropping wifi. Setup was a breeze out of the box, plus there are advanced security features you can set if you want. To be honest, the wifi coverage isn't quite as good as the Netgear, but I'm sure placement of the unit will have an effect. I plan to move it to a more central place in the house. Overall, a good choice in routers for the price. Would recommend

We recently upgraded to 400 mbits/s through Spectrum and I thought I'd upgrade our router since our old one was at least 4 years old and I wanted to take advantage of Wifi 6. On initial setup everything was fine and we were seeing 380 mbits/s down and 20 mbits/s up but I slowly realized as I switched our devices over to the new Wifi network things weren't working as well as they used to. Mainly on older devices I was seeing a lot of trouble connecting to both the 5ghz and 2.4ghz spectrum and would get random drop outs on a consistent basis. I spent hours in the ASUS router settings fiddling with different settings to try and get things stable again. It's been hugely frustrating. I would say unless you have a house full of Wifi 6 devices don't buy this yet. Older devices aren't well supported.

I already knew what product I was buying when I went in, and the Asus AX3000 router works great. I have had NO problems at all! The store service was friendly, fast and efficient. Like the product, Best Buy met all my expectations.

I love it. Fast, realiable. Get it on sale if you can. Not bad for the price.

Bottom line: Great value for smaller homes and/or those with only 1 or 2 people/devices competing for bandwidth at any given time. However, one caveat: I can't vouch for the WiFi 6 performance as I don't have any compatible devices. I upgraded from an older Asus NG router that lasted 7 years and it was still going strong. But I upgraded my home internet speed and the old router simply wasn't fast enough. This was the sweet spot for me as I live alone but I have 10 devices connected, albeit only 1 or 2 in heavy use at a time. This router handles my needs with plenty to spare. I regularly check my internet speed and I consistently get close to my quoted 400 mbps down and right at my 20 mbps up. That's from anywhere in my home which is not big but there are a couple of floors. Since it's a townhouse I also have many competing routers within a couple of hundred feet. Moving on, the Asus interface is a bit divisive: either you love it or you hate it. I love it, I find it very easy to use whether you want to "set it and forget it" you want to delve deeper into the settings and monitoring. The security software is a nice value-add and it's also easy to configure. Add in a small footprint that looks sleek and isn't obnoxious like some others, frequent firmware updates, and Asus' track record of releasing them for several years even after the product is EOL, this is an easy decision. If you're considering it, just get it.

And this high-tech digital age with more and more products using wireless Internet, I needed a new wireless router. Apparently my old wireless router was being bogged down by so many devices connected to it. The Best Buy tech expert showed me this one. Not only does it have good reviews, but it’s the it’s the one that was in his house. That’s all I needed to be convinced. Set up was easy and it works great.
