Swapped this router in for a very old netgear device. The ASUS has a honkin' signal, I can pick it up in the house, note that the ASUS device is my router in my office in the top floor of the barn 150' away. the ASUS router app is nice too.

I wanted to replace our router, which was starting to show its age. I have used Asus routers before, so, based on the speed and features of this one, I bought it. The AX3000 was easy to set up, and we're getting increased wireless speeds. As a bonus, it was on sale for $20 off the regular price

I bought the Asus AX3000 to replace an 8 year old Asus N66U router. The range of the AX3000 is significantly better than the N66U. My bedroom which my old router could not reach to stream videos now has no problem. Most of my devices are using the AC standard wifi and these devices have seen improved connectivity with it. I have one AX device and the the connection is particularly good.

I'm very happy with this router, other than being fast and reliable, most routers that I bought break within the first 6 months because of the workload, I've had this router for over 2 years and it's still going strong. VPN feature comes real handy when traveling over seas. Highly recommend!

Very fast Wi Fi! No connection drops! Long range WiFi !

Have been using this router for a week, so far the range and wifi connectivity are pretty good. This was an upgrade from a previous ASUS i had for 6 yrs. Phone app works well except for binding feature goes into connection loop.

I'm not much of a tech-geek but this router really rocks! I've had it for a little over a month or so now and have had no issues. I can stream several devices at the same time, no problem. I can even get signal in my shop which is detached from my home and about 70-80 feet from the router and through several walls, my old router could not do that.

Easy to install. Multiple features are available. Reliable!

Easy to set up if you download the app. Haven't had any issues with buffering as of today 03/18/2021

Easy to set up wireless router/access point. Compatible with the WiFi 6 standard and supports both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands. I suggest educating yourself on basic networking concepts to better understand the features available on this router. Finally, change your router's access password and keep the firmware updated for security's sake.

This router works really well. My speeds from my provider on my original supplied router by my provider didn't provide such speeds so I decided to purchase this and I was pleased to find out that my speeds increased.

Easy to set up. Greatly extended wifi range over suddenlink's equiptment.

It has worked great so far! It was an even better deal since it was on sale. It was so easy to setup once you download the app from the Apple or Android store.

Needed to replace a Netgear router that got zapped. This ASUS router works great, and was very easy to set up. I kept the same SSID and Passwords as my old router. So all my devices connected to the new router with no issues.

I'm happy with this router now that I bought it, but when I was trying to comparison shop, the specs were really confusing. I'm still not sure whether this router (RT-AX58U) is the same hardware as the RT-AX3000. Some people say it is, and only the firmware is different, and others say the hardware itself is different. The specs on the BestBuy site say it doesn't have a firewall (which would be really strange for any router in this day and age)--it does. It was also really unclear whether buying this model would come with a pro-plan lifetime internet security subscription (I forget what Asus calls it), like the more expensive RT-AX3000. It does. Overall, I'm glad I bought it instead of the more expensive model. I was also pleasantly surprised at the small footprint, since my desk is already pretty crowded.

Great Router! As soon as I hooked this up my wifi speeds easily went up 100-200 Mbps!

Pretty solid router, has a lot of features to control your network. One of the antennas broke randomly when I went to change it to face a different direction (i didn't apply any force, i just moved it like the others and it snapped). Apart from that it worked pretty great, really solid range, got full bars on the whole house and stayed connected 3 houses away before the signal dropped.
