Super easy to install. Their app makes setting up and maintaining the router a breeze. Automatic VPN works well and their mesh service connects immediately

I wanted a WiFi 6 device especially to support my Samsung S10 making calling calls over Wifi and my Norton Core wasn't cutting it. Calls are much better now and overall WiFi experience is better too. This also has more intelligence than a typical router with free software from TrendMicro, vs. what I was paying a monthly fee for from Norton.

Great product. Using this as an AImesh client node, connected to a Asus RT-AX92U via backhaul (wired) wan cable. Setting up the AImesh was confusing, be sure to disconnect the backhaul wan cable right before adding the node.

It was about time to replace my router after five years and I noticed my 1 GB speed was only giving me below 100 MBS and when I made the change I started hitting speeds between 500-600 MBS. One of the best decisions Ive ever made

Great product! My ISP's equipment was no where near up to par for our internet usage. The guys at our local best buy explained how the difference is when you have a modem+router as apposed to both. My internet has been the best it has been since our promotional deals through the Isp since 2015.

For context: I live in a 2 BR apartment that's about 1200 sq ft with lots of walls. Great router w/ wifi 6. I have about 10 devices connected to it, one of which is a TV running 4k and also I online gaming on a 1440p PC. I can have all these devices going all at once without any hiccups, even in the furthest corners of the apartment. I'm sure I would get even better performance if I hard wired, but I play CoD off wifi and I haven't noticed any latency issues with this router. Also the Asus interface for this router allows you optimize traffic to gaming, streaming, etc. I was debating whether or not to spend another $100 for one of Asus's router's marketed specifically for gaming, but with this feature and the router's aforementioned speed, I think spending anymore is superfluous for anyone in a similar situation as me.

After owning it for about 2 years, I’ve never had an issue with it until a few months ago. Had to reset it for it randomly deciding to not work. Works perfectly fine after reset. But it’s only been a few times. Other than that it’s been a solid router!

I bought this router after having previously bought an Asus router that I was very impressed by and still use. I bought it for two specific features, the Asus AiMesh range extension and VPN features. Our internet comes into the basement of a big house and the signal struggles to reach some rooms on the 2nd floor. The AiMesh completely fixes this and couldn’t have been easier to setup. The other feature I needed was VPN connectivity for the whole network. This is a pretty niche feature that most people don’t need, but something I need to have while traveling abroad. The router also supports creating a VPN server for connection into your home network while not at home. Not something I thought I’d need, but actually very helpful.

I've been using Netgear routers for so many years and it's time for me to explore a different router which is Asus. This Asus router has a non-subscription security feature called the lifetime free AirProtection Pro which is a paid equivalent feature for Netgear. Setting up this router is very easy (I used the web). I noticed that after the set-up, this router has a popular issue (slated in the internet) regarding ISP's DHCP not functioning properly. So, I was searching for answers. I tried power cycle so many times and it didn't work. I went out for lunch and later decided to prepare for packing it back to the box for return, but I tried one last time to power it up. And then all of a sudden, it worked...I got internet connection. It's just weird.

I chose an ASUS router due to the ease of installing a VPN via Open VPN. The router works great and was easy to install. Eventually, I will add this as a satellite in a home mesh system. The phone app is very easy to understand and use. I am very happy with this router.

Even more capable than my last one. I got this to not have all my stuff in the cloud with the Plume stuff my provider uses. Love how easy these are to setup and they still have the minidlna built in to share videos and audio on my network without a machine running Plex or anything else wasting power.
