Easy as cake
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely GREAT!! I've never set up a router before. I could not believe how easy it was to connect and set up this router for use. One sheet of "instructions". Follow the 3 steps on the sheet and you are in business! I should have bought this one years ago. Must of taken all of 15 minutes from start to finish.

Wifi 6 and Excellent signal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an old AC68u which is still one of the best routers, and This AX-3000 outperforms it in coverage. 2.4GHZ is slightly slower that the old AC68u, but 5GHZ is faster. I was also able to set up AI Mesh using the old router to extend my coverage. So fat it is working great! I would've like to get a tri-band router but couldn't justify the price.

Fast and reliable
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been very happy with this wireless router. I purchased this because my last router was unable to keep up with the demand of 3 people in the household streaming HD content, playing online with voice and video streaming. This guy has been able to keep up no problem. Please also not that with other routers, you might not see your full network speed during a speedtest if you are using gigabit internet. This router is able to no problem so a big plus there. It has, however, not been all good. The reason it has a 4 for ease of use is because I had to disable Wifi 6 on it. Wifi 6 is faster, but not enough that you will notice a hudge difference during day to day usage outside of downloading large files. The reason that wifi 6 had to be disabled was compatibility with non wifi 6 devices. Once turned off it has been ROCK SOLID. I am very happy with this purchase.

Fast & Long Range
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally upgraded to Wifi6 aka Wireless AX. Currently only using the AX speeds on 1 device as none of the older devices supports the latest Wifi 6 standards but this router has great range and super fast processor. This router also supports Asus Mesh Network so you can expand and get seamless connections from one access point to another.

No more equipment fees!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product! My ISP's equipment was no where near up to par for our internet usage. The guys at our local best buy explained how the difference is when you have a modem+router as apposed to both. My internet has been the best it has been since our promotional deals through the Isp since 2015.

absolutely solid
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been absolutely solid for a year+. No unusual drop outs or issues with connection, the wi-fi speed is almost exactly what comes in via the ethernet, and it's range covers our fairly wide ranch. Still going strong.

Sick router!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this router at first test! Fast reliable connection, and it reaches all of my home, even at 5ghz the range was improved significantly compared to ISP router by far! I would definitely recommend!

Super Fast, Highly Recommend
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For context: I live in a 2 BR apartment that's about 1200 sq ft with lots of walls. Great router w/ wifi 6. I have about 10 devices connected to it, one of which is a TV running 4k and also I online gaming on a 1440p PC. I can have all these devices going all at once without any hiccups, even in the furthest corners of the apartment. I'm sure I would get even better performance if I hard wired, but I play CoD off wifi and I haven't noticed any latency issues with this router. Also the Asus interface for this router allows you optimize traffic to gaming, streaming, etc. I was debating whether or not to spend another $100 for one of Asus's router's marketed specifically for gaming, but with this feature and the router's aforementioned speed, I think spending anymore is superfluous for anyone in a similar situation as me.

Sounds quality on my Samsung S10 using WiFi ++++
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a WiFi 6 device especially to support my Samsung S10 making calling calls over Wifi and my Norton Core wasn't cutting it. Calls are much better now and overall WiFi experience is better too. This also has more intelligence than a typical router with free software from TrendMicro, vs. what I was paying a monthly fee for from Norton.

Great router for Open VPN
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose an ASUS router due to the ease of installing a VPN via Open VPN. The router works great and was easy to install. Eventually, I will add this as a satellite in a home mesh system. The phone app is very easy to understand and use. I am very happy with this router.
