I have it in the attic and it transmits a good strong signal. I am a little surprised since I have had some issues with ASUS gear lately.

Great app. I have this in a bedroom, love that you can go through the app and shut off the LED indicators so they aren’t flickering through the night.

Awesome router for 300-400 mbps

Plus once I upgrade to gigabit internet it can handle that speed as well so that’s another reason I bought it. I like the ease of use and the app which you can customize settings from your tablet or phone.

As for advertised security, I trust ASUS regarding claimed security. They could write code to report thwarted break-in attempts, say as an email. The report that a competitor's router ($40) reports user traffic to CCP was frightening. Package was strong.

So when it quit working, we took advantage of the past decade of advance in this technology and purchased this ASUS. So far, great performance! We have steady WiFi access throughout the house and even in the yard/porch. Happy campers!

The instructions were straightforward and had me up and on the net in no time. The Router web login provides a lot of customization and I like that it even has an App that can control the router and allows me to block the kids devices from the wifi if I choose.

Sick router!

Fast reliable connection, and it reaches all of my home, even at 5ghz the range was improved significantly compared to ISP router by far! I would definitely recommend!

Great speed with Asus Router

Try Netgear and it was not even close to what,I was paying for. Will make Asus router my choice always because of the great speed you get.

It gets good WiFi thru out the house, do t let Spectrum tell you that you need small ports all over your house to get signal get this instead and do away with the router that spectrum gives you , you won’t regret it!!!!

Especially so one doesn’t have to “rent” a modem from a cable internet provider and well worth it in the short and long run! I have had no problems at all with this superior Asus router and the dual band 2.5/5.0 broadband kicks too!
