Our connectivity is 100% better! Our previous router would drop coverage 2-3 times a day. With this one, our coverage is continuous which is important in the operation of our home these days.

I was shocked by how large a range it had compared to the other routers at its price point. It is also easy to set up.

I bought this to connect a separate playhouse. I thought I would have to install a directional antenna but this connected with my other Asus routers and handles the distance, 100' +, very well.

Had a tp_link archer c7 that worked ok. But after installing this I was amazed how much better everything connected and worked. When doing facebook live stream was getting constant video drop outs. Now there are no drop outs and the picture is so clear on facebook.

I have found ASUS routers stable and reliable over the years. I like the fact that the user interface between different models is very similar, as well. I wish, though, that router manufacturers who provide a common SSID for 2.4GHz and 5GHz would allow using an alternate SSID for each frequency. This would be helpful in cases where one is replacing a legacy router that didn't have the common SSID capability, or where one wanted to "lock in" a device to one freq. or another for some reason. I did have a little issue during setup, but that is because of the nature of my Linux-firewalled network setup. ;)

This is great router, it works really well in my older home. The setup was way easier than any of my netgears ever were. The app ui is way nicer and easier to navigate. And its about a third smaller than any other router i have owned

I had an old modem router and I needed and upgraded i was recommended this wifi router, it comes with wifi 6 which helps communicate with more devices better so the quality of my internet really improved after I adjusted some settings into the router.

Great router. Gives good connectivity and performance for our ~2000 sq. ft. house.

Without going into a lot of technical assessments and over-sharing of my own personal life, let's just say that I really like this router and have been through many different over the years. Professionally, I've dealt with even more routers/firewalls/wireless access devices and for a home system, this has performed far beyond what I had come to expect from consumer-level routers.

Overall, it is a very good router. It is used for Work from Home, streaming, and gaming. And it holds it own for 5 devices.

I purchased two of them for my home and configured them as a mesh. I connected them to each other (wired backhaul) using ethernet. While not required, I wired them to ensure the best possible performance. I also use the manual Qos capability so I can ensure my work computers have the higher network ptiority.

Range is fairly far with great wall penetration for my 1200sqft home. Haven't had any drops in service. It's a small form factor, good looking device.

I had a little trouble setting it up, I had to reset the router a few times before my pc picked up the ethernet connection. Other than that, the router has been rock solid. Set up instructions are easy to follow and if you've used asus routers in the past the software hasn't changed much, you'll feel at home.

Best router ive bought yet. Price was right and hits everywhere in my house even through walls and floors. Buy with confidence.

Love it, i turned off the wifi - no sense in waving and jumping up and down yelling "hey hackers, over here over here!!". Its stupid to broadcast your network with how even a moron can get on the DW and buy a hacking package from REAL hackers and penetrate your network. After my neighbor used mac spoofing to get in my network I was done with WIFI. I love all the features , the router is awesome otherwise
