This ASUS Router is great! We have it in the basement, and the signal to the whole house is amazing!

I purchased two of them for my home and configured them as a mesh. I connected them to each other (wired backhaul) using ethernet. While not required, I wired them to ensure the best possible performance. I also use the manual Qos capability so I can ensure my work computers have the higher network ptiority.

It was easy to setup via the app, only took a few minutes. The range covers my house and out into the yard.

I had a little trouble setting it up, I had to reset the router a few times before my pc picked up the ethernet connection. Other than that, the router has been rock solid. Set up instructions are easy to follow and if you've used asus routers in the past the software hasn't changed much, you'll feel at home.

I have found ASUS routers stable and reliable over the years. I like the fact that the user interface between different models is very similar, as well. I wish, though, that router manufacturers who provide a common SSID for 2.4GHz and 5GHz would allow using an alternate SSID for each frequency. This would be helpful in cases where one is replacing a legacy router that didn't have the common SSID capability, or where one wanted to "lock in" a device to one freq. or another for some reason. I did have a little issue during setup, but that is because of the nature of my Linux-firewalled network setup. ;)

I was shocked by how large a range it had compared to the other routers at its price point. It is also easy to set up.

Very expensive but very good router. The companion app for it is very helpful to manage your router. I have 300mbps internet from the cable provider and this router consistently delivers as much speed as I am provided, even over WiFi

Very happy with this purchase. I needed a powerful router for tv streaming, gaming and computer homework. This unit does the job even when everyone is using the wi-fi, no lags...excellent performance with a great price!

This router is perfect. Extremely fast download and upload speeds as described. Can handle multiple devices with ease, in my case 11. Easy to set up, seems very reliable thus far and with very good coat efficiency.

Great router. Gives good connectivity and performance for our ~2000 sq. ft. house.

Range is fairly far with great wall penetration for my 1200sqft home. Haven't had any drops in service. It's a small form factor, good looking device.

This router was installed in a finished basement and you can stream Netflix wirelessly from a finished Attic room. Not sure If it would satisfy a serious gamer, but I think just about anyone else would be pleased with its performance.
