Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX1800 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (2-Pack) that I purchased in 2020 broke which was unexpected. Went back to Asus which has been working fine, but the setup was not a plug and play. Contacted Spectrum as the instruction said to do which they thought the new router was broken. Finally got the new router to work after I selected reset and chose the criteria to select from.

Spectrum installer said it was defective because internet light stayed red. After I exchanged it, new router was doing the same thing. Turns out you have to download the app and configure router before the internet light turns from red to white. There was nothing wrong with the router. The new one has been working flawless.

Best deal and quality

Paired it with a cheaper ARRIS modem and have zero internet drop-offs compared to XFinity's equipment. I bought this because XFinity's new router seems to not work at all with any iPhones.

I have had it for a year already and I had no problems with it. I like that I can control settings over Internet, using mobile app, which is great for creating guest access , and rebooting remotely

New Asus Router to replace Older Netgear

Have had Asus before so felt comfortable with purchasing one again. Installation was a breeze; security setups etc went fine. Connectivity has been good since installing it. No loss of connections or apparent slowdown in the Wifi signal. Pleased with this purchase sofar.
