My issue is bestbuys description of the router claiming it has an integrated modem and is a combo modem/router. which isnt true at all and mislead me.

Decent for the price, if you don't need long range

Has good speed but it doesn't have as much range on the wifi as the Netgear, 2 antenna box as i was replacing. The Best Buy person said the more antennas, the further the range.

It’s easy to set up a convenience VPN server, with OpenVPN. The AiMesh feature lets you extend your single router into a mesh with additional ASUS routers. Note: not all Asus routers offer AiMesh, so look for that feature in your router before you purchase. Overall great router.

In that capacity, it has been flawless. Using WIFI as back channel, no issues. Will run an Ethernet cable at some point. Not seeing any degridation in performance using WIFI, so hasn't been a priority.
