Seems to be an improvement over my old router

I found it was not a problem with the router. My laptop needed updating. My old router was about six years old My wifi equipment was losing signal and I had to reinstall frequently. I have been using this ASUS router and I have not had a problem since.

I wanted my TV to be connected to the internet. It isn't and I have no idea how to get there. It is a very impressive looking device and if I weren't such a non techie, I'm sure I would be impressed even more.

Also the footprint of the router is much more compact while still providing much more horsepower. Hopefully it holds up long term but for now, it's a wonderful upgrade for me.

It doesn't drop connectivity with multiple devices. 2.4 and 5ghz networks function properly and there have been no issues with the router up to this point. Configuring and renaming networks is easy to do and can be performed over a web browser, which is fairly convenient.

I get coverage throughout my house on both floors and even when I drive off to the end of the street. Better yet, it was sooo easy to set up. NEVER BUY NETGEAR products again. Based on other reviews I decided to give this one a try. I haven't been disappointed. It's worked extremely well and I've got some future proofing, as it supports wi-fi 6. Definitely recommended.

Integration with the ISP modem was straightforward and the Asus app makes for easy access to anything you might need to tweak from your phone. Very happy with it and highly recommended!

Now I’m having to do it too Asus to get it repaired or replaced which will take about a month. Sorry inconvenient for being able to use internet wirelessly at home because NC Spectrum charge you for a modem and router distrayant to have wireless ability. So more I have to rent a router until I receive my Asus router back. The whole process has been super frustrating. An almost $300 product shouldn’t quit that quickly. Or if it had quit sooner, I may have been able to exchange at Best Buy.

Good router for the money

And it's a good router the only downfall that I have seen Comparatively nighthawk is you cannot designate esignate a certain amount of speed speed to one device

I can't speak knowledgably about it other than to say my wifi issues were resolved when I installed this and the Arris modem I purchased at the same time (it was also recommended highly).

I have had no problems streaming videos and gaming - it’s also great for work especially during covid. It was a little hard to get set up, and I haven’t looked at any advance settings but it works well straight out of the box. I’d say a little technical knowledge is needed, but not a crazy amount.
