I was a little skeptical to pick this up (I usually buy pc parts recommended by the Maximum PC crew). Based on other reviews I decided to give this one a try. I haven't been disappointed. It's worked extremely well and I've got some future proofing, as it supports wi-fi 6. Definitely recommended.

I got this router to replace my nighthawk perit's my nighthawk. And it's a good router the only downfall that I have seen Comparatively nighthawk is you cannot designate esignate a certain amount of speed speed to one device

Noticeable improvement over the router provided by Spectrum. Integration with the ISP modem was straightforward and the Asus app makes for easy access to anything you might need to tweak from your phone. Very happy with it and highly recommended!

Works as advertised. No complaints and was easy to set up.

we have the streaming speed now that allows us to enjoy movies together as a family enjoy a game etc etc

This model was highly recommended to me by someone who purchases hardware for our company. I can't speak knowledgably about it other than to say my wifi issues were resolved when I installed this and the Arris modem I purchased at the same time (it was also recommended highly).

Have had this just under a month now, and it works great! I have had no problems streaming videos and gaming - it’s also great for work especially during covid. It was a little hard to get set up, and I haven’t looked at any advance settings but it works well straight out of the box. I’d say a little technical knowledge is needed, but not a crazy amount.

Working well and I don’t rent from spectrum now So that saves me money

Excellent but I returned it. I decided to go with a mesh setup. There is nothing wrong with this router. It worked well during the time I had it. I have always liked ASUS products. I had better, as I buy enough of them.

Wifi AI Mesh for existing Asus network. Setup about 15 min, and like that, if my main router dies, I can use this one.

Easy to connect. Only problem ive notice is streaming movie on vudu. Buffering still happens but i think thats vudu not the router. I also notice videos are more crisp looking.

It took care of our buffering issue when streaming on line.

Rock solid. I only use asus routers now. My old asus routers never needed a reboot. Only reason why I got this new one was to support my new 1Gb internet plan. It is the perfect match, solid connection with Wi-Fi devices in 2 story home.

Bought this to improve Wi-Fi performance and it did the job. The 5 Ghz band stays in the 500 to 700 range now whereas before I would hit 500, but drop to 100 at times. The 2.4 Ghz band stays in the 100 to 80 range wheras before I got 50 to 10. This didn't necessarily improve speed, but did improve stability. Wi-fi 6 clients working beautifully.

Our router was getting old and we needed something a little faster with all the devices we've added. This fit the bill.

I had to return it because it wasn’t strong enough to run my home. I ended up with a mesh network.. it’s great for home less than 2500... although the box tell you additional square footage. Keep in mind areas that may block signals such as loading walls and etc

Sadly, I can't actually review this piece other than to say the setup appeared simple and straightforward. It turns out my data issues were the result of a defective modem so I returned the router. Best Buy made the whole process simple, easy and without questions.

I was having issues with my ISP's provided router. Once I added this to my network, all my connections were much more solid.

Purchased as an update, Has worked well and improved the coverage.
