The 5 Ghz band stays in the 500 to 700 range now whereas before I would hit 500, but drop to 100 at times. The 2.4 Ghz band stays in the 100 to 80 range wheras before I got 50 to 10. This didn't necessarily improve speed, but did improve stability. Wi-fi 6 clients working beautifully.

There is nothing wrong with this router. It worked well during the time I had it. I have always liked ASUS products. I had better, as I buy enough of them.

My old asus routers never needed a reboot. Only reason why I got this new one was to support my new 1Gb internet plan. It is the perfect match, solid connection with Wi-Fi devices in 2 story home.

I ended up with a mesh network.. it’s great for home less than 2500... although the box tell you additional square footage. Keep in mind areas that may block signals such as loading walls and etc

It turns out my data issues were the result of a defective modem so I returned the router. Best Buy made the whole process simple, easy and without questions.

Buffering still happens but i think thats vudu not the router. I also notice videos are more crisp looking.

After the remodel and addition of rooms to my house we found it a little more difficult accessing wifi, but with this placed in the center we get great access even in the back and front yard.
