This is a great router I love it, My signal is much better.

One of the best routers I ever had it does exactly what I need and more the signal speed is allows me to enjoy the movies and games I play

Best router I have ever had. Bought this before switching to fiberoptic internet. Saw a huge boost in wifi range & speed. Handles almost a full gig per second quite easily.

I had picked up a Google Mesh system and was having issues with stability and consistency in my apartment. Ended up returning for a more traditional router and this one checked all my boxes and looks great to boot. After the switch, I have had unmitigated speeds that are consistent across my apartment and my use case. ASUS is a great brand so would definitely recommend. Wouldnt recommend all the additional tracking and AI services, they have access to your browsing data and habits to accomplish the optimizations that arent worth what you are giving up imo.

The router was good did not like the app, difficult to set up

Works like a charm. WiFi 6 means I don’t need any cables and I can still game as if. Hands down worth every penny, RGB, WiFi 6 and a really cool design, ASUS fanboy here.

Found this router to be far superior to others of the same type but different brands. The AI Mesh was one reason i chose asus routers. The interface is simple easy to use. Highly recommend.

WiFi 6 routers are quite pricey. This one puts in the performance at a fraction of the price. The gaming port that prioritizes my console's connection is my favorite feature

I picked this up being a netgear guy all my life. I work in IT for a hospital so I know enough about routers and all that talk. Setup was a breeze plus let’s be honest the look of it is pretty rad. I play competitively in destiny 2 and halo and this km old it out of the park. Now my internet speed is 400mbps which is nice but this router is great regardless. Steaming I have 80GB 4K video files being steamed from my plex of kodi and there is zero stutter. I have a small apartment about 900 square feet so range I can’t comment on per say. Overall if your looking for a gaming streaming beast this does it!

Bumped up the coverage area in my home. Even added some strength out to the unattached garage. All without slowing down the signal.

Bought this because I have two boys in the beginnings of "gamer" years. (10-14) So bandwidth, framerate, lag, server ping matter. Now I'm renting my place so 2 gaming PCs on different floors need fast internet access and this solution will work perfectly for my family. 4K movie on living room TV, 2 boys playing on their gaming PCs, also streaming. And my PC torrenting and all was able to work with no complains! I have a netgear CM600 cable modem and this as my wifi router. I dont have any complaints. I only wish down the road I could load an opensource firmware.

Amazing router. The UI is easy to use. Setup was a breeeze and there are so many features. The WiFi range is excellent. 5 houses down and I’m still connected to the WiFi.

I had Net gear router had lots of issues with DHCP and lease release but this router with the great price solved my issue.

The router works well and the range is better than the device it replaced. Setup was easy.

Bought this router a few months ago for my parents to replace their aging router. speed and performance is excellent. i was so impressed i bought the exact same router for my grandparents. my dad has a shop across the road from their house about 200 feet. i was amazed that he can pick up signal outside the building. not only that, he was able to install security cameras outside that piggy back off my grandparents router. i'm considering upgrading my own router later this year and most likely will buy this same model. i cannot say enough how impressed ia m with the coverage this router supports.

We have a lot of little devices that was bottlenecking out bandwidth. Home security, ring doorbell, Alexa devices really add up. We upgraded to this router and it smoothed out our connection.

Excellent router. QoS is a great feature as well as the optimized gaming for mobile. Can really tell the difference between WiFi 6 devices and ones that are not.

I bought this because I had an older Asus AC88U that started disconnecting me fairly regularly. I then did a swap of my main Asus AP (using the AiMesh system) to become the router, and bought the RT-AX82U to be my main AP. It works really well. My only complaint and why it did not receive 5 stars is that I sometimes notice my iPhone 12 intermittently disconnecting after it has been up and running for several weeks. It does mean I have to reboot it occasionally. Otherwise, I would recommend it, and I hope future firmware resolves an issue like that. I cannot speak to the gaming side of things as my online game play is pretty limited to a few Nintendo Switch games that are not latency sensitive.

Works good, just sucks that some of the features are locked unless you agree to the terms of service of a different company not related to the router. They may be able to see your data, no thanks… lol
