The Asus RT-AX82U router works really well for us. In our household, we have over 25 connected devices and several are AX / Wi-Fi 6 compatible and was very easy to set up. We did keep the settings from our previous Asus router so that made the transition seamless. We have this router set up with another Asus router, so we have an Aimesh system and it was so easy.

After using Netgear for the past 6 years, This is the best router I’ve ever owned. Fast reliable, Super easy to setup

This thing is a beast! I like it a lot and I like the app to control it and see how many devices are using the internet and how much is being used. This used to be connected directly to a router, but Xfinity kept warning us we were about to go over our limit so we upgraded and now we use the Xfinity modem/router then use this as a bridge and I haven't seen any slowing down. It's been about 2 months now.

I didnt use this long but when I did it was super fast and east to manage the networking options. I still prefer nighthwak though.

Great easy to use router. The gui interface pretty easy to use and set up various parts of the network. It has a very simple to use port forwarding system with many preloaded to use. There is a built in speed test you can test your ISP connection from the router directly with to ensure you are getting the full bandwidth you are paying for.

Very easy to install and setup, speeds increased drastically over my last router

I had gone with a netgear router and had a horrible experience. Returned that and figured I’d give ASUS a try. Couldn’t be happier. I followed the set up through the app, it pretty much set up everything for me. I had no issues with dropped WiFi signals, which is why I returned the netgear, and haven’t had an issue since. Great router, without all the headaches.

Needed to replace my older TP Link router with something more modern that also had mesh support.

This is a great router. My first time buying my own equipment instead of going with the router to get from your cable provider. The set up was way easier then I thought. Love the RGB settings that come with this device. The settings you can get into with this router is insane (in a positive way). Highly recommended if you want to own your own Wi-Fi devices.

This router has it all! ASUS hits another homerun with this router...for the cost it's a no brainer!

Very good router. We do not use it for gaming, but imagine it would be very good for that too. We have excellent coverage and strength. The interface is clean and very usable. You can change the light color and such. We had one color fade out, but no concern to us. It is located in a room where it is not seen. Tried another brand once, but came back to Asus

It's a real mixed bag. On one hand, setting it up was like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded, and the signal strength is weaker than my will to resist a bag of chips. But on the other hand, when it actually works, it's like riding a unicorn through a rainbow. So, if you're up for a challenge and don't mind some hiccups along the way, give it a shot. Otherwise, maybe look elsewhere, my friends!

Easy to set up. Great coverage, 2300sf ranch style home. No dead spots and great coverage outside the house.
