Replaced an aging AC Netgear router with this one. I have never owned an Asus router but reviews were very good so I decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed! Works great even with three laptops over wifi in simultaneous zoom meetings! I would highly recommend.

This router performs flawlessly. Getting over 450GB's on a 400GB plan. WiFi is excellent across a 3,000 SF quad-level home. Multiple devices are on the 4th level whilst the router sits on the 1st level [basement] and no issues. Really good value for the performance.

Wow I didn’t think replacing my older Asus router would make such a difference. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The only thing I would change is to be able to disable the light on the front. The blue glowing light is a bit annoying to me.

Blows my old nighthawk out of the water. Why? Because you can add WiFi 6 full size routers as nodes in a mesh system in large homes like ours. My family phones, televisions and cameras get full WiFi everywhere with the mesh system I set up.

My old Asus router started to malfunction and a firmware upgrade did not help so I upgraded to this one which as performed excellently for me. Good deal with 15% off price with trade in of old router.

This ASUS Router is high tech and is remarkable. It started working as soon as a Technician hook it up and has been working just ever since. I have texts my middle brothers and one said "WOW". I believe it top of the line. Will buy other products in this field.

Like many, I recently found myself working from home. It was pretty clear that my old router just wasn't up to the increased traffic. This AX5400 did the trick! Now everything is faster, work and play. :D

Love the wifi 6. The increase of speed and distance is great.

Purchased as an upgrade from my old asus ac1900 and it was quick and easy. Can monitor a bunch of stuff with the application plus i can use ny old ac1900 with this one to create a mesh network.

I highly recommend this router. The speed and reliability is outstanding for this product. I had previously used a Netgear Nighthawk and a Google Wifi before that. Neither could stand a chance against this Asus especially for the price.

Absolutely would recommend to anyone. We pay for 400mb internet and we would on a good day get 289mb with this router we are getting 497mb at any given time when I check. It has greatly improved my gaming as well as everything else.

Got fed up with all the problems with netgear and decided to give ASUS RT-AX82U AX5400 a try after the good reviews . Have been very pleased with the coverage and not losing connection daily. App is good.

Not enough range through brick house..two floors also

i just got this item today an i did the normal steps unplug my modem an plugged it in an the router did the easy set up an even watched the video maybe some advance settings to change and 1 feet away i was getting 10 megabytes down an 10 up an i have verizon viber an i test my lane an i was getting 1000 out of 1000 so i tested it in my living room an i was getting .05 down an .06 up to the point where the wifi dropped off my seach on my phone till i moved closer to it an it came back with one sigal bar an 3 just one so not for me sorry 

Love it. No problem what so ever. I needed this to replace the net gear WIFI-6. I constantly had to turn it off cuz it keeps losing signal. But this ASUS WiFi is amazing. A must get if you have videos game consoles, Nvidia shield laptops and phones.......

Replaced a very expensive Netgear that only made it a year... researched, and decided on the ASUS. No problems so far. We are an internet heavy use household and we have many devices running with no issues... streaming has also been very good so far.

I got this because my modem was a bottle neck for my high speed internet. This upgrade was needed and absolutely unreal. Performance is unbelievable definitely happy with the decision.

This router was easy to install and has been a big improvement in our house WIFI coverage. We have 3 ASUS routers the we mesh together to have great coverage through out the house and out on the deck.

Running this AP as a node in an AIMesh. The signal strength on that side is great, and as part of the mesh with the Asus utilities on their app managing traffic, QOS, and signal is super easy.

This router has enabled my wifi speed to go beyond and faster than actual internet speed. The only downside is that the wifi range is lower than what I have expected, but I have enabled wifi extender to extend the range.
