Best router I've ever used. I had a mesh system with two nodes that worked ok. This router is way better and I have a ton of devices, including multiple game systems connected.

I've had this router for one week now and the radios will randomly stop working. Sometimes the 2.4 radio will stop working/broadcasting, which most of my things are connected. The 5.8 will just stop working or cut out while playing a game online. I've tried using the default (out the box) settings and also tweaking the settings. Nothing seems to work. When it does work, the range is very good, I had a Google Wifi mesh (3 node) set up in a 3k sqft + garage (100 ft away) and this router seems to have the same amout of range as the G Wifi.

Such a great gaming router. Had been having issues with some netgear routers and decided to give Asus a try. Has worked so great since then. Looks cool as well if you like that RGB gamer look.

Worse wifi router I have ever bought. Stopped working in less than a yr. I am going back to netgear

The online purchasing process was easy. My router was ready in sealed original mfg box. A simple pkugin and configuration was an eady step by step. i would recommend ASUS router.

I got the Asus-RT-AX82U AX 5400 Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router for my office. The set up was super easy with the App. The range was a little disappointing...but...it covers our office at work.

I really like this router. It fits every one of my needs. The fact that you can turn off the lights makes it ideal because I have it set up in the room. You won’t be disappointed 10/10 would recommend.

I returned it because Bestbuy stole 72 dollars From me.

Best router ive bought. The gaming port and settings have lowered my ping by 20ms using the free apartment internet. I like the customization to prioritize what each device is for

It's at least 100 bucks cheaper than any other router with the same features . Port forwarding was so simple . 2.4 and 5 ghz configuration is a cinch . Not to mention all the gaming options this router has .

Plugged this in and hooked up all my devices they had no problems finding the router and connecting to it, when it gets warmer I'll check the range when I am on my patio.

After upgrading firmware, zero issues. Wifi is stable. Only negative is this is not currently supported by Merlin firmware.

Performance good so far. Set up from the ASUS site is pretty average. Options for the unit’s performance and settings choices thorough and useful. Support and troubleshooting from ASUS.com might have been developed by the writers for Laurel and Hardy’s “Who’s on first, what’s on second, I don’t know is on third.” Inconsistent formatting for information fields, endless looping in the chat section, dead ends that do not complete the inquiry’s journey, repeating screens requesting information they don’t need. Time to again watch Bill Murray again on Groundhog Day, again. Thus two stars, again. In store help was great.

Works better than my Netgear. Love the built in security features. Also the phone interface makes it really easy to use and monitor you internet traffic.

Great router for mid-size apartment, no challenges with setup or configuration. Software is good, not perfect but good enough to get you through what you need.

Can't complain, does what it's supposed to but wish that the signal traveled further through the house. When signal is strong its great when signals weak... Meh not so much.

Amazing router! It literally covers my house better than a mesh system. Worth every penny! Setup is not as intuitive as newer mesh systems but that somewhat expected with a “gaming” router.

Speed were pretty low where I couldn't play any games. Lots of people in my house using the wifi, but this bad boy did the trick and now im gaming with ease

This router makes my modem connection drop from time to time and I am unable to reach my max speed when I hook it up to my router ( I am on xfinity gigabit speed). I used the Lan ports multiple time and it is frustrating to see that a wire connection only reaches 250mb instead of my gigabit speed. It's Lan speed is exactly the speed of my wifi. So what's the point of being wired at that point then. The wifi is awesome though, it really works well and the signal strength from upstairs to the basement I can reach the max speed of wifi still.
