The LED indicator on the top if the router are not functioning per user guide informatio, the Internet active LED is not working at all and that condition is not mentioned in the guide (it is supse to be on consistent on or flashingng. I am not convinced that ASUS recognizes the problem based on our communications, but there are two action plans to attempt. 1) initialize and setup again 2) return it if it within retailers return policy. The radio (WiFi) signal strength is very good in comparison to my aged and well behaving AC68U. The footprint of this device is consuming, but accurate per description. Be advised however, the router itself is light weight, and having Ethernet cables attached could easily pull the router out of position. This could be a point of comparison and decision amongst competitor products. I would say that this router has the potential to achieve its intended purpose, put wasn't ready to be a wifi 6 "first to market" product.

I have had to reboot the router three times now because it keeps dropping the 5Ghz channel. I don't know why you don't get 30 days to return things like everywhere else but it is what it is. I will say that when it works it works good but this is rediculous. This last time I checked to see if there was a firmware update hoping that was the cause but unfortunately my firmware is up to date.

It worked but I needed more

I really enjoy ASUS Router‘s. I ended up returning this one for one that had better specs for my needs. While using this router I did not have a problem and only returned it for a different ASUS Router.
