The app provides all the features needed, including the ability to set up a guest network, and extensive parental controls that include content filters for a wide range of unsuitable material. There’s also a security feature called AiProtection that monitors your network for malware and hacking attempts from malicious websites. Doesn’t require an additional subscription. Performance is very strong.

It’s been my favorite router that I have ever owned. Before I had my Google Nest mesh Wi-Fi system and it was great but the speeds were not great and I would get only 170mbps at the most on the satellite Wi-Fi points throughout the house. So I made the switch to this router mesh system (currently have 2 in my home). It covers the entire house with anywhere from 400-700mbps and my desktop is wired to the router in the office upstairs and I have constant amazing speeds. If you want really good reliable speeds, I recommend this router for sure!

It has great range and seems to loose very little speed compared to our hardwired computer and the devices using wi-fi. Setup was really easy. The dedicated gaming port (we're using it for streaming instead) is really fast. There are three other ports (is this the right word for "plug in a device"? port? non-techie/non-gamer, remember...) for other devices or systems. We get reliable, strong wi-fi through multiple walls, our entire household and outside areas.

I had to replace a faulty router that wouldn't pass the 200 Mpbs ethernet upgrade speed from the ISP. I started with a lower cost Linksys AX router, which provided the ethernet and WiFi speed, but it didn't have the coverage in the more remote areas of my house, like the outdoor deck and the patio. I returned and replaced it with this ASUS unit (at higher cost), but the performance is very good. Both the Linksys and the ASUS had very easy installation. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.
