Excellent speeds. This is the best router I’ve ever used and is only limited by spectrum speeds in your specific area which is true for all routers. I highly recommend this to anyone who does productivity work or games frequently. This is a great value for the price.

Very fast and secure. I didn't need one this big but it works well * I am the only one that lives in the home, but grandkids come and no one has issues. Easy setup but it took a while to have it except Echo dot and my Bose Home 500 speaker because I changed the password.

Great WiFi router. I bought this one to replace my older Netgear router. Very pleased with this one. I never had an ASUS router before so I wasn’t sure how well it would work. I’m glad that I decided on this one. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing fast. Don't doubt yourself and just buy it. I was going to try a traditional mesh system but was going to end up sacrificing some speed. I tested out my actual coverage with this knowing that if I needed more coverage this was mesh capable. I am more than satisfied with this.

Pretty good router. It has lots of range than any other company router I used. It has pretty good range and signal my wifi speed increased thanks to it. Also you can change lots of setting in this router color, adding guest wifi etc. I would recommend anyone 10/10

Honestly, to a certain extent I think that there is just a limit to how fast internet can be based on the bandwidth recieved, but this put wifi at basically hard connection status. Easy install, excellent internet.

Bought two for Ai mesh setup in my home. Great range. Easy setup. I used a wired backhaul and that was painless seamless handoffs between access points. Only con is likely user error. I can’t seem to figure out how to turn off the RGB on my node unit.

This is perfect for a gaming home. Although we are not gamers we do have several devices that we use. Especially with me being a tech woman and have a teenager and toddler in the home. I had an issue a couple time with internet dropping but I was able to reset somethings (possible wasn’t set correct on initial setup) nonetheless I love it.

I purchased this router because it is an ASUS. I have had good experiences with their products over the years. It also offers a full browser based configuration while some others required a phone app to set up. I had a few minor problems with some legacy devives. A 12 year old wifi printer refused to connect fully so I ended up running an ethernet cable to it. Two wifi bulbs would fall off the network so I replaced the bulbs (newer firmware) and that resolved the issue. I had to set the 5 GHz control channel to 36 rather than the default of auto to get a 2014 vintage laptop to connect reliably. It's likely that the router can use more DFS channels than the old laptop. Everything is humming along nicely now. I get good signal throughout my 1800 sq ft home and reliable connections with streaming devices.

So far it is great. A family of 8, and we can ALL stream/game simultaneously with no issues. My husband can play call of duty while my son is playing online vr and I am streaming 4k UHD without any of us noticing lag or buffering. And my husband is REALLY picky about lag.

My old routers died after a thunderstorm. I replaced them with a pair of Asus AX5400 RT-AX82U routers. These routers use Asus's AI Mesh technology to provide seamlesss wireless connectivity. The setup is easy, the coverage is great, and I've no issues at all.

I bought this router to replace an older ASUS router, and it doesn't disappoint. This new WiFi 6 router was easy to set up, and maximizes or exceeds the Mbps speed that I'm paying for through my internet service provider. I'm very happy with this router.

Good looking especially with the rgb lighting. Easy setup, easy to navigate the app, I like the gaming port for hard wire. WiFi was ok good consistency in speed Cons: Range-wish the range in WiFi was a little stronger & longer especially the 2.4h. Will have to buy a node or other modem for mesh WiFi to cover entire house Im happy for the price on unit can’t complain

Very cool looking gaming WiFi 6 router that can handle 5000+ mbps. I use this as my primary ASUS router and I added another ASUS router as my node for the ASUS Aimesh. My speed is clocking around an average of 460-470 mbps to my spectrum plan and I’m satisfied with the results.

The user interface of this router is rich with information and easy to setup. Within a few minutes, after just plugging in Ethernet cables and applying power it was running and my problems were all gone. Then just a couple of minutes more and the two WiFi channels were setup. My dozens of WiFi devices around the house (garage door, multiple WiFi outdoor cameras, printers, ROKU, phones, tablets, etc.) were all up and running. MESH can be used to expand a WiFi network. My garage is both distant from my router but it is also filled with lots of metal things like metal doors, metal cars, metal shelves, etc. which all absorb much of the WiFi signal. I have several WiFi based devices in the garage which were having weak signal issues. I bought a range extender which works but I don't like it because it generates it's own WiFi which complicates my setup. A MESH is a design that extends the WiFi signal using the same SSID so is more convenient. So the MESH extended signal is still on the same network as the originating router. The other thing I like about this router is it has a USB 3 service. I haven't yet but am going to see if that can serve as a simple inexpensive NAS. I have a NAS already but this would be a far simpler solution, less power, no cables, and easy setup. I recommend this router.

Excellent speed and excellent range. 3500 square-foot house and it covers the entire house perfectly. The only weakness I see is sometimes it struggles to switch between 2.4 and 5 GHz. I simply brought these into separate channels and that solved the problem
