With the ax5400 wifi 6 I can get gigabit speed over wifi. The range is great. If you have a old asus router you can make it into a repeater/mesh network. Making your network even bigger.

Looks like Optimus Prime's router. Thing works mint. Very good app. Easy to find settings and features. Hasn't dropped signal once and the poor thing gets hammered with use

Strong signal throughout both levels of our house and into the yard. The lights are nice to look at when there isn't anything on TV. Works very well out of the box. Easy configuration!

I bought this router in April of 2025 with a 3 year warranty. On January 25 the 5ghz signal stopped working and the 2.4ghz signal only works up to about 10 feet away. I went to Asus and they said I needed to contact Best Buy. I chatted online and the agent said I needed to bring it in to have the Geek Squad look at it. I made an appointment and went I went in for my appointment I was told they can't do anything for me and that I needed to go to Asus. The chat agent should have told me that instead of having me was another day. Best Buy gets no stars for their customer service!

this thing has really cool glowing lights and this last part is because this review site is making me use a minimum number of characters. anyway, you will love the glowing lights.

Love this router, I got two other ones to run a mesh au system for gaming and it’s lovely and running cameras throughout my property

For the 130$ I spent or so on sale you cannot beat this at all. Easy setup and excellent coverage

Overall it’s good I did have an issue where after a few weeks I was having a WAN not connected issue. Asus did resolve the issue as I needed to do a hard reset of the router. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again as other then that it’s a good router.

Best router I have ever had. Bought this before switching to fiberoptic internet. Saw a huge boost in wifi range & speed. Handles almost a full gig per second quite easily.

Even though I have seen other newly released routers surpass the Wi-Fi technology offered in this product, I still have not seen that happen in a practical everyday setting. This router uses a sounds chip configuration and outside of one jenky firmware version I have had nothing but solid performance from this machine. Even in 2022 I think the cost per performance still puts it near the top as long as pure theoretical transmission speeds are not the only thing you care about give this router a look.

Only had a couple weeks but have no complaints ! Gets the same speed that my modem puts out. The app for the router is also very cool!
