    This is a great router option, but if you see a deal on Asus RT-AX86U take that. Is a lot better. RGB Light on this router are just ok.

    I bought this for an all around router. My kids are gamers, I use multiple devices at a time, and have smart home devices. As always Asus did not disappoint. Easy to install and noticed a difference immediately in speed and signal. I love their app to monitor and control many features. It was well worth it.

    Replaced a 3 yr old Netgear with this after getting fiber and not seeing full results with it. The ASUS has been running great with no downtime or forced restarts for about 2 months. I have another access point on the other end of the house to cover wireless, but the ASUS has been covering the entire area (about 2100sqft) without issue. Would definitely recommend if looking for a new unit.

    Good gaming router, with a killer design. I think this is one of the coolest routers aesthetically out there. It wasn't what I ended up keeping, due to my use patterns, but 10/10 in the appearance category. I wound up going with it's sister router the ax86u for range purposes, as it seems to provide an uptick vs this one. For a gamer however, Asus really hit a home run with this guy.

    This router is amazing. It has a lot of neat features and has all of the important specs that you would need. I have Google Fiber and am able to use this router via having the Fiber jack connected directly into it. I think that dropping $300-500 on a single router is overkill (better off just getting a mesh network). Fortunately this router is reasonably priced and can be used to form a mesh network.
