Switched to ASUS and saw a significant improvement in wifi stability. The ASUS app is also easier to use than the NETGEAR app. Overall, better than the Nighthawk for a similar price. It also aesthetically looks better than the Nighthawk.

This router is amazing. I have owned many routers and this one is hands down the best. I configured the router to utilize my existing ssid and password and all of my devices connected with zero issues. Highly recommend to purchase!

We bought it for a son who is a gamer. We were having a lot of issues with the one we were using with our cable company. With this new router we haven’t been having any issues were having in the past like the internet dropping and connection issues. It’s a bit pricey but it was well worth it.

Buy this router instead of faster internet

A friend suggested a gaming router even though I bought my old router only a year ago. This Asus router ended any lag I once had. Streaming movies, whatever is now reliable and fast.

I called customer care for help, provided the serial number, and confirmed the warranty. When I requested assistance, the representative said they needed to restart the system first before proceeding. After waiting on hold for a while, the call got disconnected with no follow-up. Instead of dealing with these overpriced routers, I’m considering switching to my internet provider’s router for peace of mind.

Top performer.

Always gave me problems and especially was terrible for gaming. I used mine for Hardline with Cat 6A cables and just lagged like crazy. Swapped for the Asus and would tell anyone its a way better experience. Never had an issue with lag.
