Speed was great when close, but looks like my home is to big for this router, my old ac router had farther range.

The router works as advertised. It’s not quite as fast or full coverage as I’d like, but it’s good overall.

It's a nice looking, well built, and it has a very mature software. Also, don't throw away your old ASUS router, you are able to use it to set up an AiMesh network that cover your entire house.

This route it was a really good purchase. We bought it for a son who is a gamer. We were having a lot of issues with the one we were using with our cable company. With this new router we haven’t been having any issues were having in the past like the internet dropping and connection issues. It’s a bit pricey but it was well worth it.

Good Wi-Fi strength and no issues best gameplay out of it

Had a Netgear nighthawk ac2300 before and it just couldn't handle the work load. Always gave me problems and especially was terrible for gaming. I used mine for Hardline with Cat 6A cables and just lagged like crazy. Swapped for the Asus and would tell anyone its a way better experience. Never had an issue with lag.

This is a great purchase. I recommend it for streaming.

Bought this to replace my 6 year old Asus router and I should have made the purchase sooner! My old router seemed to cap out at 400mbps (pay for up to iver a gig). When I switched it our for this one, I get over 900mbps easily. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, fast router.

I love this router. I feel like a hypebeast for buying it but it's cool so what. I like how many ethernet ports there in the back. It really does make sharing my connection with my different devices through hardwire really convenient. I also like the RGB of course. Easy to setup as well.

The mesh that asus routers give is better than any other system

This was a very expensive router, but was purchased based on other reviews for it's ability to broadcast very great distances, unlike most built in routers that come with modems. It does what's advertised, and all settings can be modified by the owner. I am supremely impressed, but be prepared to pay for its ability.

The adaptive setting was on by default but after turning it off it worked like a charm

Seamless streaming of movies while playing video games at the same time .

This is a great router and an upgrade from the ISP provided modem/router that we have been using for the past few years. We are getting great download/upload speeds however there some parts of the house (3,000+ square feet) where the signal is weak. Looking into purchasing another compatible router to setup a mesh system.

Bought this to replace a troublesome router that cut the broadband speed and Wi-Fi quality after an update. This router is amazing, and has a ton of features you can set specifically for games if you wish, plus you have a built in firewall and a lifetime coverage of Trend Micro anti-virus monitoring built into the router (Okay so it might share browsing habits, but then your computer web browser and phone have been doing that for a decades), menus and sub menus take some getting used to, to find what you are after compared to some other brands GUI interfaces, port forwarding for games profiles and can be specified to a device IP. Only negative I can find is the huge amount of information and navigating to what you are trying to find is a bit tricky sometimes, but it is just a matter of getting used to the interface. I'm really happy with this purchase, quick to setup, and so many options available either expanding the network through mesh, or just with the current hardware settings that can be adjusted.
