For some reason it is causing random packet loss and not passing traffic for a few seconds. If you are browsing websites you won’t notice it, but if stream, use vpn for work, or play video games, you are definitely going to notice the issues.

My old Asus router from 2016 still out shInes this one in speed when hard wired in. The wireless is good if you have the latest devices. Gaming setting have to be adjusted for certain games. Honestly, my biggest grip after all these years and still having to open ports for the most common games. There are some there but not all. If you play steam games look up the ports for the steam client because I had to ooen them up for steam to connect. These are really small grips which ia why I have a 4 star review. Overall it is a good router but was expecting it to be better hard wired in.

TVs that never buffered started to buffer and lag, started to notice streaming was not as clear, signal did not go as far. I returned this product and will be searching for another router that can perform better
