Interesting equipment. 5000 sf home that was experiencing drops in the 2.4gz ranges off old equipment. Replaced with AX5400. I setup the router, upgraded firmware and Trend definitions. First impressions were not good. Wireless performance was worse than old unit, I was convinced that this was a mispurchase and I would be returning it the next day. Overnight, either a upgrade and or reboot occurred. Since then wireless has been solid throughout the house. Only complaint is that wired performance is subpar (Approximately 700-800 mbps, previous equipment measured 960-980). Anyway, good coverage and it eliminated the drops.

Great router, especially for the price. I save the 5g channel for my quest 2 and virtual desktop and it works brilliantly alongside my pc and other consoles, etc. The mobile app can use a bit of updating but it does anything most people will ever need. I was a bit nervous moving away from Netgear after so many years, but this is an amazing router and I have no regrets purchasing it.

Was worried about setup and playing nice with existing router but setup was a breeze and up and running instantly.

Started having a lot of trouble with my google hubs with the internet cutting out multiple times a week due to the hubs losing connection. Decided to get the ASUS gaming router because we have fiber internet and the reviews showed that it is an excellent router. I would have to agree! It works very well and we haven't had any of our internet cut out! Would definitely recommend!

Just what we needed to ramp up our wifi! Gaming and computers, TV along with phones works perfectly, all together.

Excellent router!!! I use mine in AP mode and it covers my tri-level without an issue.

I guess it's great because everything works. For me this would be one of those pass or fail things. I have Greenlight fiber optic, who suggested something a different modem. I got this one because it had WIFI6 and I've had zero problems and I'm typically streaming 8 TVs and a crap ton of wifi devices all at one time.

Went from an eero the this router significantly improved my internet speed.
