Wherever it would connect the speeds were great. Only issue I encountered was my ring doorbell and thermostat kept losing connection. Support was no help so unfortunately I had to go back to my Nighthawk.

Excellent router. Easy set-up. Love being able to use the app and control router. Also, easy set-up with additional router to make 2 networks. Worth your money

The Perfect Gaming Router. I use it with an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi and it's super fast. I have 500mbps down and 50mbps internet plan and im getting that plus more with this router.

We kept getting cheap routers that would crap out everytime we had a power outage. I decided to do some research and saw that the ASUS routers were supposed to work really well. Set up was super easy, it has an app that you do majority of it in. Lots of great functions in the app. We’ve had this one for about a year so far and it has not quit working yet. The cheaper ones we were getting were $60-$80 and they’d only last a couple months. Definitely worth the extra money to get this.

I had a nighthawk before and it kept dropping wifi signal every day. I had to keep resetting it. So I went out and bought this one.... Wow! So far, this is great! It's placed in the center of a 2,000sq ft home and I get full wifi bars everywhere in the home. I don't have the rgb lights on because I don't want to make it work harder than it has too, but they do look pretty awesome. It's fast, it works, easiest set up ever and it helps that it looks cool.

Fast, my new gaming laptop with WiFi 6 would barely top 50mbps on my WiFi 4 Xfinity Modem/Router. Now my laptop reaches up to 350mbps with this router. Easy set up as well

Overall satisfied with this router's performance as it provides a strong, reliable signal around my home. On wi-fi, multiplayer games on PS5/XSX have kept good and, more importantly, stable ping levels. The Asus config page (and app) provide plenty of custom options and visuals for monitoring usage, etc. The front panel RGB is cool-looking, but doesn't have a variable brightness setting. I eventually disabled it since it was too bright being in my bedroom. The more important lights noting connection status are on the left side.

Very easy installation. Excellent access and control via ASUS app on either Android or iOS. Easiest router setup I've yet done. The speed and stability of the 2.4 and 5 GHz antennas seem to be a notable upgrade. My Lenovo Carbon X1 and Galaxy S9 will connect wirelessly to the router at 1733 Mbps -- about twice as fast as my prior router. I have 20 devices on the router between the 2.4 and 5GHz bands, including 2 game systems. This router is handling everything without any lag. Even my printer, connected by cable to the router, wakes and responds faster! The remote access to the router is a gift. Being able to reset the router or regulate internet access, etc. when out of the house is a major plus for parents, just sayin'. It is easier, in my opinion, to set up parental controls via the Android or iOS app rather than on the router interface via laptop. The laptop interface is excellent, in my opinion, but for the casual homeowner the number of choices and settings is overwhelming -- and can be messed up. This router interface does somewhat expect that you, the user, know what you are doing if you are changing settings. It won't ask many questions and will let you change pretty much whatever you want. I would consider myself intermediate to expert on computers and routers . . . but I am certain the average user will be most comfortable using the APP instead of the computer GUI because the full router controls are wideranging and a little complex. But if you want it -- especially for the advanced user -- you will have CONTROL of EVERYTHING you want to control. My prior router was an ASUS AC3100, but it died after 21 months, so this was a replacement/upgrade. My only reason for not giving highest marks for Quality and Value are the fact that my prior ASUS router did not last even 2 years -- but I did get a Geek Squad plan on it so it was replaced by Best Buy essentially free of charge to me. Thanks, Best Buy! So, I will have to wait to see if this router lasts longer, but so far no complaints regarding ease of use, speed and functionality. Definitely a superior router to the ASUS AC3100. And, yes, I did get the Geek Squad protection again . . . it has paid off for me a couple of times (which does NOT speak well of the quality of some of the electronics on the market currently). Not Best Buy's fault, but some of the electronics nowadays are just not much for durability. Sad. A final trivial note: my wife and kids love the "glowing eyes" effects on the front of the router. Looks really cool in the dark! Kinda works for a Halloween decoration, actually.

Works great for a device heavy, gamer household. The device/network manager you can use on PC easy enough to navigate and use.

Very easy to install. I love that it as an app where I can monitor my child's devices. Internet is running much faster than my older router.

Works great! It is really fast and like the way it looks. It has a long range signal. Wifi6 has worked fine on my phone. One important thing with WiFi mesh is when you put to 2 WiFi boxes together, the second one will have half the speed of the first one. With PS5 I had below the router and got about 450Mbps download on WiFi6 in speed test. Guess the WiFi in the PS5 is not very fast. Hooked it up to wired and went 1Gbps download in speed test. Xbox Series X it doesn't support WiFi6.

This device is amazing and capable of hitting 800mbps on wifi. Only con is that the router has to be restarted weekly because the devices will not connect eventhough the signal is available.

What a great router! I am not a gamer but a big fan of Asus. I replaced to cave router with this one because they were becoming a pain to reboot and get the internet connected again. As always, set up was a breeze, installed all my previous settings and it works with out a flaw. The app works very well also. I haven't had any internet or wifi devices drop out and love the lights to play with when I get bored. Only thing is I wish I had went with the next better model with 1gig of ram. This one always shows 74% used but never been a problem so far.

Coming from a Netgear Nighthawk AX12. This was a lot easier to set-up and giving me better speeds.

Bought this beast after recommendation from a friend due to months of issues with Spectrum's wifi router (whole other story). Followed the instructions provided and set up was a breeze. Immediate improvement in network stability and wifi speeds across all devices (smart TV, cameras, gaming console, smartphones, etc). Couple of months after, we took the Verizon 5G Home Internet for a spin. Swapping between modems was a sinch. The router was easily able to handle the higher speeds. A little pricier than we are used to, but got it on sale and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Added bonus we are total tech members so warranty included!

Purchased this router to upgrade my home WIFI. Easy to setup and very pleased with its performance throughout my home.

Coverage is much better than the Netgear unit I had before. Very easy setup. I don’t need an extender with this unit to reach an out side shop I work in.

This have been an amazing Router. No issues with it at all. The app on my phone gives me great control of the Router and access to all devices attached to it. Love it.
